Found: Awesome Geek Tees From WonderCon

Last weekend's WonderCon brought lots of geeky TV and movie goodness during the spotlight panels, but there are other reasons to love WonderCon - including the expo floor. Stuffed with toys, tees, legacy celebs, and cosplay, the show floor is where you find the goods. I fell in love with one booth in particular that had every geeky tee I could ever want. Booda Brand Tees Do More Than the Average Shirt

Think of it as Toms Shoes for books. While store shelves are flooded with kids' shirts bearing messages, Booda Brand tees do a bit more. The wise words on the garments are meant to inspire tots, and the company's philanthropic commitment ensures that kids are making a difference. For each shirt ($32) or onesie ($30) sold, Booda Brand donates a book to a child in need through Room to Read.
The collection of six sweet, unisex designs are all printed on 100 percent organic cotton and colored naturally with vegetable dyes. The words "I will make a difference" are subtly emblazoned on the back of each shirt.

Sometimes sex appeal is all in the details. Case in point: this slinky T by Alexander Wang Shoulder Cutout Tee ($95). I swooned when I first saw the silhouette - oh so sexy, but not overly; after all, it's still a tee. And that's when I realized I couldn't justify nearly $100 on a t-shirt, no matter how hard I was crushing. So began the search for something more in my price range.

We're in the midst of another Twilight quake with Eclipse now only a day away from debut. What better way to distract ourselves from the countdown than to get outfitted for the movie date in support of hot vampires and shirtless werewolves? Whether it's Jacob or Edward you're crushing on, Nordstrom's selection of Eclipse-inspired tees are the perfect quirky-cool alternative to generic fan gear. I love the "I heart Jacob" and "I heart Edward" tanks, though I'm having a hard time making a commitment to just one of the guys - and just one tank. You make the call.

Does Your Pet Need This Shirt to Stop Confused Strangers?

My favorite pom, Preston Casanova, has been known to don a pink mohawk - no matter his gender. Likewise, there's no reason for those sporty girl dogs not to cheer for the home team in white and blue jerseys. But what about when a dog is just doing his business on the block when a stranger coos how sweet he is . . . only he's a she.
Now, yes, I realize there's usually a visual "cue" for male dogs, but it's not like everyone takes the time to check out his stuff before stopping. I tend to think about pups as males, since my dog's a he, but I try to be careful when speaking my mind. These Not A Girl + Not A Boy Tees ($29 each) could help matters out if you face this situation often, but do you?
