A Fab reader is having her 10-year high school reunion in August and she must dress to impress. After all, she's going to run into old classmates, some of whom I can imagine she wants to make envious! The event will take place in Austin, Texas, at an indoor/outdoor bar in the evening.

The current economic crisis seems to have no impact on Neiman Marcus. The luxury retailer has released its annual Christmas book, and it's chock full of extravagant gifts. Edible 23-karat gold powder, BMWs, Cartier jewelry — the list goes on and on.

Right about this time every year, I get the itch to travel. This Urban Outfitters Destination Charm Necklace ($24) is affording me inspiration while I plan my Summer excursion. I'm probably not going to go to Paris this year (sniff sniff) so I must get this necklace to satiate my hunger until I go.

Texas-born designer Emily Jane showed on the first day of San Francisco Fashion Week and she instantly caught my eye with her fem/mas designs. What was interesting about her collection is that despite the masculine details (tuxedo-inspired blouses and bow ties), it retained an air of girliness and elegance.
Some taffeta dresses were bridesmaid-y, but on the flip side, belted silk frocks could pass for red-carpet looks.
