I've died and gone to gray heaven. My everyday neutral has been sexified by model Selita Ebanks, designer Haider Ackermann, and actress Paula Patton. They are all wrapped in gray, and I'm wrapped in envy. While gray is the perfect canvas for a colorful accessory, here it stands alone just fine. While the color may be safe, the cuts are anything but; ruched, draped, asymmetrical, slit, and one-shouldered, the party never ends. I'll admit, I've been steering clear of Shopbop's sale section for fear of finding something I can't live without. But, anything for my Fab friends. As you can imagine, there's an array of items - 120 pages to be precise - from dresses to tops, denim to loungewear.

Cheetah print is nothing new, but what I dig about this Thayer Cheetah Print Spaghetti Strap Tank ($45, originally $149), besides the price, is the way it flares out at the bottom. It adds sweetness to an otherwise roar-worthy top. Pounce before it escapes.

Celebrity Style: Kelly Osbourne

Kelly Osbourne celebrated Elton John's birthday in Hollywood over the weekend. She stayed true to her rocker side by wearing a leather motorcycle jacket but added a dash of glam via a body-hugging green animal-print dress. I've noticed Kelly loves to accessorize - she did so with a white beaded necklace, black rimmed glasses, stacked bangles, and a kitchy bag. She made it work with just enough funk and the right amount of sexy.

Dress Me Up: Gold & Gray

Gold & gray go together like peanut butter and jelly. Meaning, they're fine alone, but when combined, they produce even richer flavors. Gray calms down gold, while gold pumps up gray's volume a notch or two. The result is part vivid, part mellow.

When I close my eyes, I envision this Mason by Michelle Mason Metallic Gold Corset ($83, originally $275) paired over a fitted heather gray long-sleeve tee. The bottom layer would tame the corset and make it more everyday wearable. Yummy - try it sometime.

Thayer Shatter Ruffle Skirt: Love It or Hate It?

I love wearing ruffles up top, but I've always been hesitant to wear them on the lower half of my body. A ruffly bottom is too feminine for my taste, but I do love this Thayer Shatter Ruffle Skirt ($187). I like how the blood red color and iridescent lamé finish tones down the girly tiers. Is this Fab potential or should I pass?

Anne Hathaway returned to her stylish The Devil Wears Prada roots while at a Saks Fifth Avenue soirée. She looks sleek and unfussy in a burgundy mini dress and black tights. I must commend her for not going the usual route of black shoes and instead wearing metallic booties. As for her dramatic haircut, it has taken her from drab to Fab!

Cool Idea: Display Jewelry on Busts

One of my favorite shelter magazines, Anthology, just posted the latest edition of Off Shoots on its blog. There are many new and delectable images from the photo shoot of stylist Randi Brookman Harris's home, which is featured in Issue 2 of Anthology. The latest issue is on newsstands now (and selling out quickly, so grab your copy today).

I'm always looking for new and interesting ways to display jewelry, so I was immediately drawn to the bust that Harris used to display her treasured necklaces. If you have a large collection, why not try a few busts - perhaps staging one on a vanity in the bathroom and another on your bedroom dresser. One of my favorites as of late has been the Ethan Allen Bust of Lillian ($140). Or, mix it up and try adding some animal busts to your dresser instead for a more whimsical take on the look.
