The designer, known more for his sexy glamour - let's not forget his '90s stint at Gucci - than dressing first ladies nonetheless provided an elegant dress with double-crossed straps across the bust and a ribbon tie. She accessorized with pendant earrings, a sparkly silver clutch, and white gloves. It was an impeccable outfit, although we think FLOTUS could have done away with the gloves - all the better to show off those toned arms.
