Perfect timing. After this Summer, I decided I need a new one piece. Though I am a skimpy bikini girl at heart, there are times when a one piece is in order.

New York Fashion Week is always a whirlwind, and it's important to stop and smell the fashion roses. In my final roundup, soak up sleek styles from Tommy Hilfiger, edgy chic by Kimberly Ovitz, and pretty musings by Erin Fetherston. Phi (pictured) was my final show — front row Traina spotting!

If you're wondering where in the world Tommy Hilfiger and Helena Christensen are, they're in Italy. The model/photographer is helping the designer promote his limited-edition bag at his flagship store in Milan. Half of the $452 bag, here on Christensen, will be donated to nonprofit organization Breast Health International along with proceeds from an auction of some of Christensen’s photography and works from Hilfiger’s private art collection.

We can always count on Tommy Hilfiger for a patriotic ad campaign. For Spring '09, the designer branched out from the usual iconic American landscapes and showed us his love for urban city life. “This campaign is slightly more upbeat than seasons past and shows a renewed optimism and attitude about the brand,” said the brand's VP of global marketing, Avery Baker.

I bet you have a friend or family member who's obsessed with Gossip Girl. I figured. This wannabe Blair Waldorf wishes she had the characters' lives, but since that's unlikely, their stuff will have to do.

My favorite Spring collection was Dries Van Noten. Graphic prints were an integral part of the eclectic collection. These calculated prints command attention and are stimulating to the eye.

While this year's Macy's Passport Fashion Show didn't bring out Dita von Teese like it did last year, it did again showcase some fabulous fashions, talented dancers, and live music. Designer Tommy Hilfiger, drummer Adrian Young from No Doubt, and vastly talented male dancers were all present to help to raise funds and awareness for over 10 HIV/AIDS organizations. The night was broken up into sections: Iconic America with Tommy Hilfiger's designs; Dark Shadows with all-black clothes; Figment of Your Imagination with hip-hop-inspired gear; Brighton Rocks with punky cool Ben Sherman duds; Calvin Klein; Levi's; INC; and Ed Hardy.

It's the holidays, and grandma is enjoying her retirement on some faraway island enjoying the cool sea breeze. Thus, no time to knit a holiday sweater.
Well, if you've been good this year, Santa might gift you with a snazzy piece from Tommy Hilfiger's new Happy Holidays collection.

While Gabrielle Union's infectious smile draws me in, her nautical navy and white Laila Azhar dress keeps me there. The Summer season calls for sailing and sailing calls for a nautical outfit. Whether or not you partake in the water games, wear yourself a nautical navy and white ensemble because it's refined and refreshing.

Paisley print can be dorky, but both famous Kates — Hudson and Bosworth — show us that it doesn't have to be. Not only does Kate not look dorky here, she oozes sophisticated cool in her black and white tonal pretty paisley sheath. The best quality about paisley is that it comes in all sizes and colors, so it's not an alienating trend like, say, sheer.
