Aug 22 2008 - 4:00pm The '90s are making a comeback in fashion and it's only going to spiral. Remember this gang? How can one forget, what with the revival and all.
i think that we all want it to succeed - i'm just not really thinking that it will. i've seen hints of the show - the commercial/trailer and it's just not enticing me the way that it should.
it just reminds me of another version of the OC or of Gossip Girls - and that's just not something that's 'cool' to me right now. when there are too many shows that are similar - then it's
just boring.
hopefully they will tie in the original cast in a creative way that will at least draw us in a bit. i don't know if the fashion/styles will do it this time around since GG seems to have
cornered the market on clothes/trends
I love 90210!! I think that it's going to be tough for the new one to compete with the old. I'm excited to see what they have instore for Brenda and Kelly on the new one. I do agree with you
ilanac13, it reminds me of the O.C. and Gossip Girl type shows. I will be tuning in to see how it compares!
Nah, even if the new 90210 is decent, it will NEVER compare to the original! I watched every episode of that show, from the time it came out when I was in the 7th grade til the final episode
when I was in college. No remake could ever live up to it for me!
I had a huge crush on Dylan (Luke Perry) which was just another reason why I always wanted to be Brenda when my friends and I 'played' 90210 (hey let's remember, I was only in third grade
back then)
I love the original show. I think it will be a hit a again. I love Brenda and I don't like Kelly coz she stole Dylan from Brenda. Until now, I never liked Jennie Garth ever since.
It'll NEVER compare. And I think a lot of people won't like the new 90210, just because I think we're expecting too much. They have a LOT to live up to.
I can't look at Shannen Doherty without seeing how asymmetrical her face is. Her left eye is almost in the middle of her forehead! I used to think she was so adorable on the show until I
noticed it, then I could see nothing else.
Tory Spelling looks good in these pics. Um, that's all I'll say.
Jenny Garth, adorable, completely. Hard to imagine Brian Austen Greene has scored Megan Fox - lucky man.
I used to love that show, like everyone else who saw it back then But dude, the 90s
were a lot more unfortunate in terms of fashion than I'd remembered!
hehe, I haven't seen the original but the first season is waiting patiently in my Netflix queue! I'll probably check out the new one too, just for fun.

Thanks Fab! Who didn't love 90210 growing up? I don't think the new one will be as influential but I'm loving the 90s 90210 revival.

6I'm watching 90210 on Hulu right now...the early 90s fashion cracks me up.
7b.a green was a piece back then but that hair...wow. i'm sorry i will never ever wear unflattering 90's fashion again. quote me on that.
