Tory Burch's Fall collection was inspired by "the idea of a prim girl who's under the spell of the wrong kind of guy." The results? An array of prim and polished looks injected with just the right amount of librarian girl sexiness. Sultry lace dresses showcased embellished collars, peplum tops were adorned with sequins, and pencil skirts were decorated with frilly hemlines. Burch also gave new life to tweed and tartan; a pair of knockout leather tweed-printed pants were the highlight of the show. Meanwhile, a cozy selection of bouclé jackets and angora sweaters provided texture and warmth. For accessories, the designer featured patent spectator shoes and a range of heavily embellished chain bags and floral clutches. More details below.

Sarah Jessica Parker knew just how to outfit her sparkles for the Smash premiere in NYC. She slipped into one of our favorite pieces from Tory Burch's Spring '12 collection, outfitting the sequined frock with a blue velvet blazer and brown leather adding Winter contrast against the dress's glimmer. We love the cool contrast of textures from her supple suede pumps, plush jacket, and VBH leather bag. Glamour magazine held its 21st annual Women of the Year awards in New York City last night, and fashionable honorees including Jennifer Lopez, Tory Burch, Chelsea Handler, and Lea Michele dressed to impress for the glamorous soiree. We were on the red carpet where we chatted with Tory Burch, who received this year's Fashion Force award. The designer dressed Jessica Alba for the evening in a fantastic black and white sequined number, which Tory predicts will fly off the shelves after being worn by Jessica for the event. The Next Step For Tory Burch: Fragrance

It's been years in the making, and now Tory Burch is ready to launch her first fragrance. While exact details of the perfume are still being discussed, the juice will be developed in conjunction with Estée Lauder and will be "of great value at an accessible price," Tory Burch explained to WWD. She added, "For me, beauty was part of the plan since the beginning, especially fragrance . . . We wanted to establish ourselves for who we are and learn who we were, and it's taken us seven and a half years to really understand, from where our potential is, as well, and growth around the world."

We'll have to wait until 2013 for the big Tory Burch fragrance reveal, but there's something else to look forward to: Burch and executives at Estée Lauder are in talks to develop a color cosmetics collection. Additionally, the beauty partnership will be connected to the Tory Burch Foundation, a nonprofit that helps provide financial tools to self-employed women. And with designers such as Tom Ford and now Burch branching out into the cosmetics business, let's hope more designers will head a similar direction.
