Nudes have been a big trend throughout the Summer with many celebrities stepping out in the neutral shade. It looks set to continue through to the Spring as many of the major design houses featured the shade on the catwalk last month. Fall Haircut Trends For All Lengths

Hairstylist Moulay Yacoubi of the Pierre Michel Salon in NYC, has styled the locks of celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, and Elizabeth Hurley; and when it comes to what's hot now, Yacoubi knows his stuff. Recently, I had the chance to chat with the stylist regarding trendy styles, but more importantly, he emphasized, "People should be aware, [and ask] 'Am I going to look good with that haircut?'" Romanza was in the air last night at the Emmys as the majority of Hollywood's leading ladies showed off their soft side in swirling ruffles, cascading tulle, sweet lace, soft chiffon, and decadent draping. 2010 Spring New York Trend Alert: Naranja

Though I don't have a lot of it in my closet (do any of us?), I quite enjoy naranja, aka orange. It's optimistic, energizing, youthful - it is FitSugar's color, after all. Amongst all the white, neutrals, and grays of Spring, orange stood out to me at once. Red is Fall's favorite fiery hue, so it's no surprise its tangy sister has stepped in for Spring. Diane von Furstenberg didn't hold back - Chanel Iman is double layered in orange goodness. In need of a new outlook on life? Nibble on some naranja.

Trend Alert: Union Jacks

The Union Jack flag is the official flag of the United Kingdom, and it's also an officially hot decorating must have. Here's a little history, since most of us Yanks don't know the background on the flag. By the early 1700s the flag was called "The Union," and since it was flown from a jackstaff on Navy ships, popular legend has it that the flag got its full name, the Union Jack, from the jackstaff. When Northern Ireland became part of the United Kingdom in 1801, the St. Patrick's flag, a red diagonal cross on a white background, was added to the Union Jack, giving us the flag we have today. Take a Peek at the Trendiest Nail Polish Collections For Fall

As far as Fall nail polish trends are concerned, I foresee lots of hot pinks, mushroom tones, smoky metallics, burnt oranges, deep, intense greens, and the return of purple - but with a little less smoke and a little more attitude. As far as textures go, think mattes, creams, and brushed, velvety finishes. But, if you're a fan of the shimmer, don't fret. There's plenty of sparkle to go around. Like most makeup collections, nail polish colors take inspiration straight from the runways, and since nails are a fashion accessory, after all, many of these recently launched polish shades come straight to us from the Fall catwalks. Let's just say I'm not bored.
