Tumi has long been a go-to place for luggage and laptop cases, but ever since they decided to launch a women's handbag line, things have been a little different. The brand is looking to be more fashionable and more high-end, upgrading to materials like Napa leather and higher prices.

To help them attain this newfound status, Tumi tapped the lovely Shalom Harlow to bring high fashion attitude to their ad campaigns. Bring it Shalom does: she looks so luxe with her bright yellow bag, chubby fur, and retro-style swimwear. What do you think?

Fab Gift Guide: Father's Day

Does anyone else find daddio to be one of the hardest people to shop for? My dad is very minimal. But, he does love his gadgets, movies and velour lounge suits (yes, you heard me right). Fab Flash: Tumi To Debut Women's Handbag Line

If you have a dad, brother, boyfriend, or husband, chances are you've purchased a wallet, briefcase or luggage for them from Tumi, the 32-year-old accessories brand known for its travel gear. Come next month, you'll be able to pick up a Tumi handbag or two for yourself as well! It has been reported that, under the direction of executive creative director David Chu, the accessories brand is expanding into the women's market with four new handbag collections.

The line of bags is going to combine functionality with an everyday style, so don't expect to see any crazy designs. All the new pieces will first be sold exclusively at Tumi stores until Spring 2008. After that, you'll be able to find Tumi handbags at Bloomingdale's, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.
