In celebration of Chuck's appointment to Bass Industries, Blair wore a silk chiffon Milly top and See by Chloe tweed skirt. Notice how she kept the focus on her pretty prints by wearing minimal accessories and black peep toe pumps. So simple, yet so sophisticated.

If there is one classic wardrobe item you should buy this Fall, it is a tweed skirt. Forever 21's Fall look book is set at a quaint, old-fashioned cafe in Paris. Ooh la la. So, naturally, the collection is made up of cozy chic pieces - dressed-up sweaters, skirts with sheen, flirty capes, tweed trenches, and thick plaid scarves. Notice the way they're all thrown together in that effortless Parisian way. But the more severe, less romantic girl has not been overlooked. For her, there are studded faux leather jackets, lace-up ankle boots, striped cardigans, and leather shorts. Get a Fall glimpse, then shop to your heart's desire.

2010 Paris Fashion Week: Isabel Marant

Isabel Marant - a Fab obsession - opted for more detail, more color, and more leg for Spring. Per usual, I adore everything, minus the camouflage boots. Marant delivered an eclectic chic mix of frilly skirts and dresses, sumptuous tweed, cool prints, girlie ruffles, city shorts, hot hot pink, and sweet turquoise. Railroad denim is redone: teeny short shorts, patchwork miniskirts, and cutoff jeans. Khaki jackets and vests are far from preppy in silky fabrics and utilitarian styles.Pants are either laid-back loose or sexy tight, shown in silky black, Carmen Kass multicolored stripes, hot pink, and cool gray; this pictured pair of laced up black pants are a new classic, totally unique. The mix is emphasized by diverse details: feathered earrings, silver chain necklaces, dark metal bracelets, a mix of belts, and a knockout fringed and studded boot. Are you obsessed with Isabel, too? Look Book Love: Madison Marcus, Fall '09

Madison Marcus's Fall '09 collection has me crushin' like the ninth grade – you know what I mean. For the cold months ahead, the brand is keeping us warm with a supply of tweed skirts, shimmering cardigans, tailored pants, silk tops, and vintage-inspired frocks. I'm smitten with the '20s influence via intricate beading details and floaty shapes, but notice how the line evokes youthfulness through a fun, jewel-toned palette. Sometimes, you don't need to be bold to be noticed and Madison Marcus proves this perfectly. I can already see myself wearing this unique camel cowl-neck top with black skinnies and booties during a chilly Autumn day.

2010 Spring New York Fashion Week: Jason Wu

I couldn't help but ask myself, "Would Michelle Obama wear that?", while checking out Jason Wu's tantalizing Spring collection. Indeed, I saw a couple pretty dresses that Michelle would jump for, but his creations aren't just for the First Lady. Any cutie would be so lucky to don his array of youthful separates and magical frocks. For separates, the designer dreamt up a range of sporty, yet polished tweed suits, chambray tops, metallic pleated skirts, and a ton of fun prints. Dresses varied from romantic shapes adorned with frothy feathers and intricate ruffles, to polished streamlined sheaths, and flirty cocktail dresses.

For color, Wu accompanied vibrant hues of coral, purple, blues, deep yellow, and pink with classic neutral tones. To offset the bold colors, the designer kept his shapes structured and modern. All together a very wearable, very wonderful collection - I cant wait until Spring! 2009 was a great year for Wu but I'm thinking 2010 might be even greater.

Look Book Love: Corey Lynn Calter, Fall '09

We can always count on Corey Lynn Calter to give us the perfect blend of stylish and wearable. Her Fall Look Book is proof. Every piece is practical yet nothing short of special. The lineup goes a little something like this: black capes, flowy print skirt, tie-front blouse, tweed dress, slouchy zip-up cardigan, asymmetrical top, and accordion pleats. One of the highlights is this strapless burgundy jumpsuit (left). The colorful tie belt gives it flair, the brown tweed jacket sophistication. There's something for every gal, so dig in.

Girls on Film: Valerija Erokhina, Vogue Australia, May '09

I never considered pink hair until I saw Valerija Erokhina in Vogue Australia's May '09 issue. OK, I'll never really dye my hair pink - unless it's Halloween - but I adore Valerija's slightly tinted 'do. The spread, dubbed "Flora Plan," features the Russian model wearing a sweet mix of '40s-inspired ladylike separates and modern elements. The floral adornments add a soft touch to the structured tweed skirts and silk dresses, while bold accessories inject a contemporary feel. Old school fabric tweed is an ideal material for winter - it is moisture resistant, very durable, and very cute. Tweed automatically adds grace and sophistication, and is a fun fabric to wear in a more corporate work environment.
