Couture Is in Bloom Over at Twelve by Twelve

Forever 21's sister Twelve by Twelve has just released its latest look book Couture in Bloom. With a name like that, you can imagine, there's no shortage of florals, ruffles, pastels, pearls, tulle, and lace. It's a beautiful scene, really. Incredibly fashionable yet wearable, too. Here is one of my favorite looks - the model is working her floral print romper and turban like a flirty chick. There's way more couture in bloom so enter to see it all in action.

The Look For Less: Ella Moss Lurex Shimmery Leggings

I'm admittedly re-obsessed with leggings; they're comfy and show off the shape of my legs when it's too cold to wear a skirt. But I hadn't considered wearing light colored ones until I saw these Ella Moss Lurex Shimmery Leggings ($99). They have a slight shimmer, and I love the way they look with that portobello tunic. Since this isn't a trend I can see myself wearing for years, I need a cheaper option.

Forever 21 Lingerie Tee: Love It or Hate It?

As of late, many gals have been wearing their lacy lingerie over tees. I've seen it work and I've seen it flop. Forever 21 is capitalizing on the trend by creating this Twelve by Twelve Lingerie Tee ($14, originally $28). That way, you don't actually have to do the work of layering. Is this something you would rock or is it too '80s for you?

Forever 21's Luxury Line Now Online!

Back in June, we announced Forever 21's plans to come out with a luxury line, Twelve by Twelve. Good news Fab ladies, that times has finally come. Twelve by Twelve is open for business, both in stores and online. The prices are still relatively cheap but definitely pricier than the regular Forever 21 line. Fab Flash: Forever 21 Adds New Luxury Line

Forever 21 has had such success in the fast fashion business, it's expanding to include a new more sophisticated, more cohesive line: Twelve by Twelve. The Twelve by Twelve collection features everything from faux leopard fur coats to empire dresses and cocktail dresses. Not to worry if you're a fan of the Forever 21 prices; the new line has no piece over $100. The twelvebytwelve.com website will be launched later this month, followed by 10 to 15 in-store boutiques at already existing Forever 21 stores. By fall, a stand-alone Twelve by Twelve shop will be opened at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. This new line is perfect for those of you who love Forever 21 low prices but have sophisticated taste!

Sienna Hits the Theater Then Joins Savannah For a Fashion Launch

Sienna Miller held hands with a friend on Saturday after a performance of her show Flare Path in London, and this morning she switched gears from drama to fashion in order to join her sister Savannah at Selfridges to launch their new Twenty8Twelve pop-up shop. It seems the Millers decided to forgo showing their designs with a big show during Fall Fashion Week, instead choosing to have exclusive appointments with some of their favorite editors and stylists. Savannah recently revealed that they were inspired by old Peter Lindberg photos in Italian Vogue for the designs, which go on sale later this year. Their temporary store features the Spring pieces they showed on the runway last October, though they're also producing a small pre-Spring line too.

9 Popular Tax Breaks You Can No Longer Count on in 2012

You’ll face a higher tax bill next spring if Congress doesn’t act to revive a series of tax breaks that expired Dec. 31, 2011. Among the breaks that Congress didn’t extend in all the Sturm und Drang over the payroll tax holiday are:

Alternative minimum tax patch

The AMT is a parallel tax system created more than 40 years ago to prevent excessive use of tax breaks by the very wealthy, ensuring they pay at least some tax. Taxpayers whose income exceeds the AMT exemption – in 2011, $48,450 for individuals and $74,450 for married couples filing jointly - must calculate both regular tax and AMT liability and pay the larger of the two amounts. But exemption levels have, at least tentatively, dropped to $33,750 for individuals and $45,000 for married couples filing jointly in 2012, which will expose 31 million taxpayers to the higher AMT this year, according to Tax Policy Center estimates.

Higher mass transportation benefit

This one's of particular interest to strap-hangers, van-riders, and other users of public transit. A 2009 federal stimulus provision raised the maximum an employee could receive for transit, tax-free, from $120 to $230. That matched the tax-free limit for parking. With the expiration of this break, the maximum for 2012 dropped to $125. Employees who’ve asked to have an amount higher than that withheld from their paycheck to cover their total commuting costs will see their net pay come down, as the difference is now taxed.
