This week, US Magazine declared its Hot Hollywood crowd of 2008. To celebrate, the mag threw a big bash, and naturally, the hotties followed. Whitney Port rocked a spunky '80s ensemble; Blake went her signature menswear route; Becki complemented the carpet in a refined blue Yves Saint Laurent frock; Vanessa Hudgens worked sequins in a Kaufman Franco mini; and Olivia Palermo chose a sophisticated black and white tuxedo blazer. All are Hot Hollywood status, but which attendee is most Fab?

Angelina and Brad Design High-End Jewelry With Asprey

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have tackled a lot together - namely, a growing family. A high-end jewelry line is the latest. Dubbed The Protector, it's inspired by snakes because Angelina considers the reptile a protector of her family. Here at the BAFTA Awards in February, she gave us a sneak peek of the line by wearing the serpent bracelet.

The duo's jewelry line has been in the works for more than a year but will finally debut later this week at Asprey stores in London, New York, Beverly Hills, Tokyo and Dubai. A silver baby spoon with a serpent-shaped handle, retailing for $525, will benefit Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, co-founded by Angelina. Black diamond and emerald pavé rings, earrings, bracelets, men’s cuff links, and studs are also part of the line. This is one celebrity designer collaboration I didn't see coming. Did you?

FabSugar Exclusive! Taylor Jacobson, A Lady Who Lunches . . . With an Edge

All good things must come to an end. And that includes Rachel Zoe's work relationship with her platinum-blond style associate, Taylor Jacobson. You either loved her or hated her - but you have to admit you loved her wardrobe. I couldn't shut up about her awesome jackets; Chanel, Dries van Noten, Balenciaga, sigh. You may recall I spoke with Rachel at the beginning of this last season of The Rachel Zoe Project and she shared that Taylor has a heart of gold. I'm sure Taylor's leaving Rachel Zoe was melancholy for all parties involved - the two have worked together since January 2005. I know I will miss drooling over her jackets and watching her and Brad's banter.

We caught up with Taylor this week, and though she didn't divulge details about her departure, she has a positive outlook on life - something we seldom see from the show's supposed villain. And, can I just add, Taylor gives Fab favorite Diane Kruger props for having stellar style - great minds . . . Listen up.

What should we expect to see from you in the next year?

I look forward to exploring styling on my own and the new opportunities and experiences it is going to bring.

Who are your go-to designers right now?

Chris Benz, Alexander Wang, and Prabal Gurung.

Whose style do you admire?

I think Diane Kruger has great style and even more impressive is that she does it herself.

Has being on TV changed your style at all?

No. I think I have always been true to my sense of style.

What was your last big splurge?

I’m trying to be recession savvy at the moment.

What are the most ridiculous trends right now?

I don’t think that anything is ridiculous, you can always make something work with the right styling.

I will never be caught dead in . . .

There is nothing I won’t try.

Most overrated designer? Most underrated?

I respect the art form of design, and I think they should all be respected for sharing their art with us.

Have you ever considered designing your own line of clothing or accessories?

At this point I’m entertaining all ideas. I am walking into this new chapter with an open mind.

Fab Exclusive: Alexis Bittar Talks Jewelry as Weapons and Multiple Bling Personalities

I've always wanted to meet the man behind my favorite Alexis Bittar jewels - I finally had the pleasure to do so at his recent Neiman Marcus trunk show. Alexis filled us in on what's going on in his world right now. He's one busy bee; his San Francisco stay was for a mere 10 hours because he had to fly to Vancouver for an appearance at Holt Renfrew. He revealed his jewelry philosophy and discussed the dope spiked bracelet Alicia Keys wore recently . . .

What’s the latest and greatest goings on?

I just finished Spring, we showed at Paris Fashion Week. We showed at Tranoi, which is a show there. I designed three collections under Alexis Bittar, and three other collections for other designers. I did Alexis Bittar for Michael Kors, we did glass, it’s all clear. And I did Michael Angel, he’s kind of a younger designer. I met him through the girls at Vogue. In a week, doing Victoria’s Secret.

The Demise of Luella Bartley

After showing a magical Spring '10 collection at Paris Fashion Week, it's shocking to hear that Luella has ceased all operations. The brand's licensee, Club 21, just announced it has "taken the decision not to invest further in its relationship with Luella Bartley Limited."

Furthermore, the production of Luella's Spring '10 collection has been put to a stop since its ready-to-wear producer, Carla Carini, had to shutter its doors unexpectedly.

"This is a very disappointing situation for everyone involved with the brand," said Bartley. "I love the Luella character and hope that after we have survived this challenging time the Luella girl can have an exciting future ahead of her, whichever incarnation she takes on next. We have a number of options open to us, and are considering these over the coming months." Tear.

Do You Approve of Project Runway's Final Three?

Last night's Project Runway challenge wasn't necessarily the hardest, but it was the most pressure-filled. It was the last stop before Bryant Park - the remaining five designers were asked to create a look inspired by the Getty Museum in LA. Art, architecture, nature, and furniture all provided fodder for their work. I wasn't blown away by any of the looks, but in the end, Carol Hannah, Irina, and Althea won. Christopher and Gordana were sent home. Do you approve of the final three? Do they have the chops to blow us away at New York Fashion Week? I don't foresee myself walking down the aisle anytime soon, but that won't stop me from peeping at the latest bridal fashions from Jenny Packham, Vera Wang, Reem Acra, Monique Lhuillier, and Temperley London. For Fall '10, the designers supplied us with an abundance of fabulous, frothy layers of tulles, taffeta, lace, and ruffles.
