Guess who's starring inside V Magazine's upcoming 61st issue? Amber Valletta, that's who. The model took the Fall slot looking stylishly stealth in a black and white editorial shot by Hedi Slimane. I'm loving the gritty array of denim and range of avant-garde to casual tops. Her striking eyes are magnetizing and pulling her hair away from her face exemplifies her striking cheek bones. Take note of how stylist Clare Richardson geniusly combined high/low brands from the likes of Benetton, H&M, Levi’s, Hudson, Uniqlo, Dolce & Gabbana to create a dirty yet divine vibe. I'm inspired, are you?

V a Model contest, which discovered Amanda Laine (left) last year, is asking prospective models to submit photos online from now until June. Winning means getting signed with Ford Models; that's huge. Since her win, Amanda has been catapulted into the international spotlight working with greats like Calvin Klein, Alexander McQueen, Miu Miu, and Balenciaga. V Magazine's Glowing Spring Affair

Always innovative and apparently optimistic, V Magazine’s Spring '09 issue hits NYC newsstands today. You can't miss the cover - even you vampires out there - because it glows in the dark! A special UV gloss causes the V and the words “V GLOW IN THE DARK” to actually glow. Woah. The issue has an electric/neon theme, thus Natalia Vodianova and up-and-comer hottie Luke Grimes also glow on the cover. Mario Testino shot the cover and Natalia's inside spread "Lights of Spring." Cofounder and editor-in-chief Stephen Gan explains the idea, "Because V needed to lighten up and brighten this Spring, we're in dark times!" Source
