Ukranian beauty Olga Kurylenko has been MIA for a while, but she's back, and bolder than ever. At the 2010 Campari Calendar cocktail party in Milan, the actress showed up in a can't-miss-it red Valentino couture gown that perfectly matched the red carpet. Up top she's fully covered in a turtleneck and long sleeves, but she's showing a bit of leg and thigh in a high slit.

Paris Fashion Week is the creme de la creme of all fashion events. New York had its highlights; London wowed me with its revived schedule; and Milan is always beautiful, but Paris? Undeniably thrilling.

While the majority of the Gossip Girls continue to frolic on campus, Serena van der Woodsen opted for the road less traveled. Judging from her her power-prowess outfit — Herve Leger bandage skirt, Slane & Slane layered necklace, and gray Topshop blazer — I deduce she's heading to a fashionable business meeting of sorts. Her take on business casual is far from boring and leans on the sexy side — true to Serena van der Woodsen nature.

Rose Byrne opted to wear a beige crystal-embellished tulle Valentino gown to the Emmys. Leaving full focus on her decadent dress, the actress accessorized minimally with a small black clutch and diamond earrings. It's definitely different from all the frocks we've seen thus far, and I like it.

The hotness continues this week with Jennifer Aniston showing legs aplenty at the Love Happens premiere in LA last night. Standing alongside co-star Aaron Eckhart, (Don't they make a cute couple?), the actress wore a sexy long-sleeve mini by Valentino and Christian Louboutin strappy-jeweled sandals. Jennifer usually plays it safe on the red carpet, but she stepped outside the box and knocked this one out the park.

If you didn't get a chance to see Valentino's flick in theaters, fret not, it's coming to DVD. Starting Sept. 8, you can add Valentino: The Last Emperor ($16) to your movie collection.

Why newbie Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli chose to do a colorless, i.e., black and sometimes nude, couture collection is questionable, alas, the creations are highly wearable, flirtatious, and super femme. With a rich mix of volume and transparency, the house still caters to the red-carpet set, but this collection might also appeal to the daughters of longtime clients. A couple details were unnecessary — the wings were silly and the ruffled shoes were distracting — whereas trompe l'oeil black lace and mystical headpieces were lovely.

If you're in the mood for sexy gloom, Valentino's Fall ad will quench your thirst. The campaign, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, displays Iris Strubegger in a number of — cough — precarious positions wearing Valentino's high-slit frocks and furry coats. Iris's sharp features and glam makeup pull me in and the clothes are just enough to make me yearn for more.

You loved Rachel Weisz in emerald green dip-dyed Valentino; how about Evangeline Lily in a turquoise version? At the Looking For Eric premiere, "Freckles" and new L'Oréal lady opted for a cool crisscross bodice and high slit, but it's the bright-to-dark turquoise hue I adore. With the high neck, pulling her hair back in a slick pony was totally a good call.

There has to be at least one Valentino gown at the Cannes Film Festival. Brunette beauty Rachel Weisz attended the Agora premiere in an emerald green chiffon gown. If you look closer, it's gradient, getting darker — and more dramatic — toward the bottom.
