Some may argue they are a classic, the aforementioned ladies and maybe Slash, but for some the leather jacket is dicey. Ever the elegant gamine, Michelle Williams stunned at the SAG Awards in a red lace Valentino gown and matching red strappy heels. We're loving this bold bombshell color changeup from her usual go-to neutral palette. To accentuate the lace sleeve details and subtle asymmetrical hem, Michelle chose a metallic boxy clutch and a textured gold cuff bracelet to keep the look gilded and gorgeous. Michelle Williams Celebrates Post-SAGs With The Artist Stars and Sofia Vergara

There was a great deal for the Weinstein Company to celebrate after the SAG Awards in LA last night. They hosted a bash, along with Dewar's, at the Chateau Marmont honoring this year's crop of films, including The Iron Lady, The Artist, and My Week With Marilyn. The star of the latter film, Michelle Williams, took home a statue at the recent Golden Globe Awards, but yesterday, it was The Artist's Jean Dujardin who was onstage accepting an honor. Michelle attended the afterparty nonetheless, still decked out in her red Valentino gown. She made the rounds chatting up Bérénice Bejo, while another of the evening's winners, Modern Family's Sofia Vergara, had a moment with Jean. What a night! Last night's SAG Awards brought out a bevy of celebrities decked out in a range of vibrant hues, metallic finishes, and bold embellishments. Our best dressed nominees of the evening are: Zoe Saldana in a shimmery Givenchy gown, Jessica Chastain in electric blue Calvin Klein, and Angelina Jolie in a slinky black dress by Jenny Packham. Furthermore, Viola Davis, winner of the best female actor award for her role in The Help, glowed in an ethereal creation by Marchesa, and Michelle Williams stunned in her red lace Valentino number. Angelina, Michelle, Zoe, Viola, and More Bring Glamour to the SAG Awards Red Carpet

Award season saw another glamorous night with the Screen Actors Guild Awards in LA this evening. Stars from both the big and small screens brought even more great looks with plenty of ladies stepping out in neutrals. Presenter Zoe Saldana glowed in a white Givenchy Couture gown straight from the Paris runways while Bridesmaids' Kristen Wiig chose a Balenciaga halter. Viola Davis, who won best actress and best picture for The Help, got gorgeous in a strapless Marchesa and her winning costar Octavia Spencer donned Tadashi Shoji. The Good Wife's Julianna Margulies wore a custom beaded Calvin Klein Collection as she arrived on the arm of her husband Keith Lieberthal.

There were a few fun pops of color this evening, including a group that matched the carpet in red. Best actress nominee Michelle Williams looked sweet in a lace Valentino gown and Lanvin clutch and Kyra Sedgwick showed skin in a cutout Pucci that displayed her rib tattoo of her family's initials. Modern Family's Sofia Vergara continued her sexy streak in a strapless pink Marchesa dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewels, which were front and center when she took the stage with her costars to accept the best TV comedy ensemble statue. Emily Blunt got bright in a green Oscar de la Renta next to husband John Krasinski, and The Help's Jessica Chastain went with a bold blue Calvin Klein.

Angelina Jolie led the pack of black looks in a slinky Jenny Packham gown and Ashlee Simpson followed suit in a sequin number by the same designer when she arrived with boyfriend and Boardwalk Empire nominee Vincent Piazza. Emma Stone mixed things up with a short McQueen and 30 Rock's Tina Fey went strapless in Versace. Melissa McCarthy, who was nominated for Bridesmaids, joined the dark-hued dresses in navy Badgley Mischka. Michelle Williams Wears Red to Kick Off the Glamorous SAGs Carpet

Michelle Williams looked gorgeous in a bright lace Valentino gown, Lanvin clutch, and a mix of vintage jewels by Fred Leighton and new pieces by Fred Leighton for Forevermark on the red carpet at tonight's SAG Awards in LA. She arrived with pal Busy Philipps, who has been by her side at many of this year's award season events. Michelle's made the rounds as a best actress nominee for her work in My Week With Marilyn. She took home the honor at the Golden Globes, and we'll see if she adds another statue to her collection at this evening's show. It was just announced that Michelle is also nominated for an Oscar, which means we have another glamorous appearance to look forward to from the star. George Clooney posed with his The Descendants costar Shailene Woodley at the Directors Guild Awards in LA this evening. George appeared to arrive without his girlfriend and award season companion, Stacy Keibler, on his arm. Stacy tweeted just a few hours ago about being at a bridal shower, so perhaps she's sitting this one out ahead of tomorrow's SAG Awards. Shailene was decked out in a sheer red Valentino gown for the evening. Their film's director, Alexander Payne, is a nominee this evening, while Sunday's Screen Actors Guild event is all about the onscreen stars. It was a huge week for everyone involved in The Descendants, since it picked up five Oscar nominations!

Gowns swathed in toile-inspired prints and soft, wallpaper florals hinted at Jane Austin era romance at Valentino. There's a distinctly feminine feel, and a hint of both Parisian decadence and Victorian propriety in the collars, bows, and capes that topped delicate silver-embellished gowns and sheer-topped confections. Everything feels emphatically pretty - the softness, the bow and floral-appliqué adornments; even the slipper-style loafers are done up in the same florals and details.

Hart of Dixie star Jaime King hit the Globes InStyle afterparty in a velvet floor-length Valentino Couture number. She paired the lime-green confection with an embellished vintage-inspired cocktail purse, gold Van Cleef & Arpels bangles, and a couple of party-perfect diamond rings.
