It was hard to miss Lake Bell at the LA premiere of Shrek Forever After with her yellow blouse, cute black shorts, and black and white curvaceous kicks. This outfit is properly timed - while the yellow blouse packs a punch, the shorts buffer, and the shoes bring in a courageous surreal sliver. Summer sandals are curving in all directions with thick and thin straps, daring colors, heels and flats. I like how they bring a fluid mix to an outfit; part psychedelic, part sci-fi, totally fun.

Isn't Audrey a vision in Chanel? At the Paris premiere of the hotly anticipated Coco Chanel bio-flick, Coco Avant Chanel, she wore a black-and-white floral frock from Lagerfeld's Spring couture collection. She contrasted the prim with a not-so-prim cropped black leather jacket. Swirly black leather Sergio Rossi sandals and a green cocktail ring make for unique accessories. We haven't seen our Fabcon in a while, and can't wait to see more premiere looks from the pseudo Coco.

It was nearly a week ago that I chatted with Rachel Bilson, and now she's back in LA running errands with her mamacita. She's dark and mysterious in her black wedge boots, Brian Reyes jersey tee, and dramatic asymmetrical knit vest. But she livens up the look with a bright red ruched Miu Miu bag. She never leaves home without her Ray-Bans, and this time she wore her tortoise pair. Notice how she later changed into UGGs - guess those wedge boots were hurting her pups.

On Our Radar: Vena Cava For Via Spiga

Vena Cava designers Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai have already mastered the art of designing cool clothes, but what about shoes? The duo have just teamed up with sultry shoe label Via Spiga in creating their first shoe designer collaboration.

“We’ve never done shoes before and it’s always been a dream design project," said Buhai.

Retailing from about $300 to $850, the collection, which will debut during NY Fashion Week, will consist of four styles matching their Spring collection theme of “Egyptomania." Expect to see exotic strappy sandals embellished in monkfish and salmon skin dyed in muted, sun-bleached colors.

Curious? The collection will be sold at viaspiga.com and in the new Via Spiga flagship in New York, which will open in October.
