YSL Roady owners, listen up - from Nov. 19 to Dec. 1, take your bag into any YSL boutique in LA or NYC for a chance to customize its handles. There will be artisans on hand to snazzy them up via skins like ostrich, crocodile, lizard, and a variety of colors. Costs range from $225 for the lizard, $385 for the ostrich, and $515 for the crocodile. For further personalization, your Roady can also be monogrammed inside with initials, free of charge. When Leighton Meester steps onto the red carpet, she's a fashion force to be reckoned with. The Gossip Girl's ensembles get more and more refined with each event. Sometimes she's super sexy, others ultra femme, and from time to time a full-on movie star in floor-grazing gowns. She's constantly switching it up, that's why she's refreshing to follow. But such was not always the case. When Leighton first hit the red carpet in 2003, her uniform of choice was jeans and fancy tops. A lot has changed since then, including her hair color. Biggest Headline of 2008: Rest In Peace, Yves Saint Laurent

It was a sad Sunday. I remember waking to the news of fashion great Yves Saint Laurent passing June 1; throughout the week the fashion world mourned. We put together a tribute slideshow, but that will never do the couturier justice. Looking back on Fab, before June 1, we featured Yves Saint Laurent on a regular basis. Most being new school YSL, under the direction of creative director Stefano Pilati, all being rooted in the man who popularized menswear for women, beatnik, and safari style. Even before then, Yves was thrown into the fire at Christian Dior, upon Dior's death, and kept the house afloat at the ripe age of 21. This man was arguably the first couturier to delve into ready-to-wear. His Rive Gauche stores sold his RTW creations, and he became an international sensation with actress Catherine Deneuve and icon Loulou de la Falaise favoring his clothes. Like many risk-takers, Yves's collections were often pooh-poohed by the press - but ended up setting the trends. Yves retired in 2002. Many of today's designers cite YSL as being an influence, and the designer left behind countless friends and fans. Here are some of our favorite stories about the late designer and the house:

Fabcon: Loulou de la Falaise

Born in a family of writers, models, and painters, Loulou de la Falaise was destined to become an artistic marvel. From a young age, her mother, Maxime de la Falaise, a noted fashionista, gave Loulou open access to the world of high fashion. Her career took off when she moved to Paris and befriended fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent.

“I met Yves through mutual friends. We had lots of fun together, and he must have liked what I did with clothes because one day he asked me to work with him," said Loulou.

Loulou de la Falaise and Yves Saint Laurent's friendship grew into a creative partnership which lasted over three decades until his death. Now, Loulou's presence in the fashion industry is still strong with stores in Paris and a jewelry line with the HSN. Throughout the years, Loulou's eclectic and unique style has remained unmatched. From her signature head wraps to her funky shoes, there's no denying this lady's got style.

Who Wore It Better? Richard Ruiz Sheath Dress

Lookie here, comeback kid Shannen Doherty and Lauren Conrad have been spotted donning Richard Ruiz's silk printed sheath dress. Check how Lauren, seen at the Nylon party in LA, styles her black version by cinching in the boxy shape of the dress with a coordinating belt. A simple bracelet and Yves Saint Laurent platform sandals complete her ensemble. On the flip side, Shannen lets her fiery red confection hang loose and opts for minimal jewels and a pair of gold Christian Louboutin sandals at the Late Show With David Letterman. Both ladies command attention, but which look do you prefer?

We couldn't expect anything but the best at the grand opening of YSL's stand-alone Edition 24 space at London's Dover Street Market.

Fashion A-listers who joined YSL designer Stefano Pilati in fashion giddiness included Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, stylist Katie Grand, and Erin O'Conner, perused the amazing limited-edition items inspired by travel and functionality. Perfect for all those jet-setters, no? The theatrical set designed by Michael Howells worked as a great backdrop for the guests as they partied away and enjoyed copious amounts of bubbly. Pilati even gifted his friends with a limited-edition YSL canvas bag - lucky ducks!
