Feast your eyes on decadent hats, personality bags, serious structure, and the pump of the season (by YSL, of course). Don't get too hypnotized by Ralph Lauren's mad hat; there's lots more to dream about.

Alexander Wang staged a dark and dramatic show tonight at Pier 94, setting the mood for a high-impact show complete with a tricky "runway" configuration, strategically placed mirrors, and our favorite highlight of the night, a surprise appearance from Gisele Bundchen. "I personally think he's a great guy, a great person, and he's always so sincere," said Bundchen. "He asked me and I'm very happy that I was able to be here." The show kicked off with a vast array of structured, lacquered wool coats paired with laser-cut fishnet turtlenecks - pulled over part of the face to look like a mask - and waxed suede manipulated to look like leather. The latter was used to create black- and oxblood-hued military-inspired dresses and sexy front-slit skirts. Then came the fringe, thus far a burgeoning trend on the Fall runways, juxtaposed on crisp collared shirtdresses and tops. The surprise closer of the evening featured top models like Karolina Kurkova and Bundchen facing the mirrors - then peeling off their half-masks. Mystifying? Yes, but there's no confusion when it comes to Wang and his modern way of thinking.

Trends: Lacquer, laser-cut details, fringe.

If you caught a glimpse of Karolina Kurkova at last night's Jay-Z concert at Carnegie Hall, you might have been wondering: what exactly was she wearing? It looked like the supermodel slipped a leather skirt over her sweater dress, but upon closer inspection, we discovered that the look is actually all one piece. We're excited to bring you the best fashion finds, shopping stories, and style news from one of our favorite sites, Fashionista. Today, they're taking a closer look at the great model debate.

I'm 5'5" and a size 6, with a not-insignificant ass. I don't see many models out there who look like me. In fact, very few women-no matter what their sizes-probably see themselves reflected in the ads we're bombarded with every single day. There seem to be two distinct types of models-the traditional beanpole "straight size" fashion model, and the zaftig hourglass on the plus-size end of the spectrum.

When these two worlds collide, as they did recently in a controversial editorial that appeared in the online publication, PLUS Model Magazine (wherein a plus-size and straight size model were shown naked and embracing), one gets a sense of how emotionally charged this issue can be. Women on both sides of the scale's needle feel attacked for being too big or too small. But what about those who fall somewhere in between?

A Closer Look at the Hunger Games Nail Polish Collection

This is going to be a very, very good year for Hunger Games fangirls - especially if you're a fan of Effie Trinket's colorful, done-up Capitol style. Here's a closer look at China Glaze's nail polish collection, Colours of the Capitol, which lands in stores at the beginning of March. The 12 hues are inspired by the districts of Panem, but we find them a little bit Seam-y, with a nod to Katniss's fire dress for good measure. Take a look, and be ready to pounce if one of the shades falls into your favor - because the buzz on this film is huge.
