Herve Leger dresses are kinda tricky to pull off - they stick to your body like glue! - but if you've got the physique, go for it. This Herve Leger Black and White Stretch Dress (sold out) is incredibly sexy and futuristic at the same time. I love the tricks it plays on your eyes, but I don't love that it costs more than my rent.

Insta-hem ($18), a nonpermanent hemming tape, makes it possible to wear the same jeans in many ways. It has an adhesive back that is strong enough to stick to fabric and hold in place for several hours.

Say you love these Arden B. Tulip Pocket Denim Trousers ($68) with both platforms wedges and flat sandals. Now you can wear them with both without having to alter anything. I know, the fold-under technique isn't as attractive, but the alternative of paying a hefty alteration fee and having it be permanent is more brutal. Convinced?
