Disclaimer: I'm just the messenger. You know this '90s trend is back in action when supermodel Heidi Klum is spotted donning a pair of baggy jeans. Don't get me wrong, I love Heidi, but her saggy denim reminds me of days past in high school watching Boyz n the Hood.

For those interested, most offerings are sold at high end retailers for a pretty penny. Be savvy and raid your man's closet - I wonder if Victoria Beckham borrowed David's - or buy a pair of cheap baggy vintage jeans.

What say you: Are these any better than baggy and saggy pants because they're denim?

Trend Alert: Baggy and Saggy Pants

The last time I asked you about these style pants, you all hated it. Baggy and saggy pants are definitely not for everyone but I dare you try it. So, how low would you go?

If you're swaying on the avant garde tip, I'd suggest you hone in your eccentric glamour with a pair of crotch dropping jodhpurs. If you're still on the fence - like me- try a more subdued version with a pair of crisp cropped baggy trousers like Phillip Lim's to the left. My only piece of advice: choose something that flatters your derrière. Have fun and be brave!

Create a "snack center" in your fridge (one of those Crate and Barrel bins would be perfect for this), so you have a go-to spot to find healthy munchables when hunger strikes. Place the bin in front at eye level, and stock it with premade 150-calorie baggies of popcorn, cheese and crackers, trail mix, cereal, pretzels, fruit and nut bars, fruit leather, and other healthy faves.

For booking air travel, start yesterday. This year is going to be tough for snagging the choice Christmas flights. With Christmas falling on a Sunday, there's already a scramble for Friday-to-Monday (or Tuesday) trips. Start looking and booking now.
Be as flexible as you can. It's hard during the holidays to be flexible, but if you can depart on Thursday, for example, instead of Friday, you can save $100 per ticket in some markets.
When booking flights with connections, be mindful of the connecting city. Winter weather in popular connecting cities like Chicago or Minneapolis can throw a big wrench in your plans. Though a nonstop flight might cost more, it could be worth it if the only connection options are dicey delay-prone cities.
Don't forget to check nearby airports. Although it can be a hassle to drive an extra 50 or 100 miles to a more distant airport, it can be worth checking. For a family, saving $50 per ticket will more than make up for the extra gas.
Check in at home. Most airlines now allow you to check in via computer or smartphone as well as print your boarding pass. If you don't need to check bags, that means you can head straight for the security screening line.
