Every time I visit Barneys, I drool over Mark Davis and his super-expensive bangles. They're pretty, bejeweled, and bakelite, like this Mark Davis Evelyn Bangle ($2,280), but way out of my splurge range. Finally, I found a Fab alternative!

There's no stopping the bracelet brigade. It is indeed the season of the wrist. Tuck away those simple earrings and dainty rings, jewelry remains a way to make a statement.

It seems a lot of clothing designers are venturing off into jewelry land; Dolce & Gabbana has joined that crew.
One of their first pieces, these D&G Dolce & Gabbana Candy Bangles, $225, are quite loud and gaudy. But that's no surprise coming from the provocative Italian designing duo.

I adore wooden bangles — they inject a down-to-earth feel to any outfit and match everything. These Kenneth Jay Lane Octangle Bangles ($21 for the set, originally $35) are some of the best wooden bangles I've seen. They're modern, and at that price, you can afford to get two sets.

I almost jumped out of my seat when I saw this Alexis Bittar Kucite Square Bangle ($37, originally $75) on sale. See, his creations rarely get marked down, so I suggest you act fast. In fact, this bangle would look perfect stacked with a white one I recently scored .

If you're anything like me, your bangle collection is taking over your entire vanity. It's hard to find a decent home for bangles, especially if they're overly chunky, like these Ciro Collecizone Dimensional Bangles ($48 each). And since they're so pretty, I feel bad sticking them in drawers where no one will see them (and I will forget about them).
