Every time I visit Barneys, I drool over Mark Davis and his super-expensive bangles. They're pretty, bejeweled, and bakelite, like this Mark Davis Evelyn Bangle ($2,280), but way out of my splurge range. Finally, I found a Fab alternative!

Karl was cuckoo for bangles and cuffs at both his Fall RTW (right) and Cruise 2008 (left) collections. So if you've forever been jonesing for classic Chanel wristwear get ready for an influx. Pile on the drama like at Louis Vuitton (middle), where Marc Jacobs didn't hold back and chose to twin his metallic bangles with an even more metallic clutch.

My styling tip? All you need is a black long-sleeve turtleneck, some tailored jeans, pile those bracelets on and you are cocktail-ready. Tchin-Tchin!

Cleopatra Liner Makes a Comeback

When most of us think of "Egyptian"-style eyeliner, the first thing that comes to mind is Elizabeth Taylor chewing scenery in 1963 drama-fest Cleopatra. And over the past few months, it's a look that's certainly been inspiring designers and makeup artists. From big brands like Gucci and Jean Paul Gaultier to indie lines like Electric Feathers (shown above), thick, defined eye makeup, which combines the shape of traditional winged liner with the dramatic size of smoky eyes, is de rigueur.

To try the look yourself, use liquid liner to draw on a normal winged shape. Then, fill it in for intensity, and draw the line out further - right out to the end of your eyebrow. On your bottom lash line, instead of waterlining or following the curve of your eye, draw a line below your lashes and pull it straight out. It's not necessary for the top and bottom lines to meet. In fact, the more space in between, the edgier it is. Now all you need is an old tape of "Walk Like an Egyptian" by The Bangles.

Look of the Day: Statement Cape

Fab reader MimisMuneca spruced up her Winter attire with pops of colorblocked hues and metallic wedges. She draped her red, yellow, and black striped cape over skinny black jeans, showing off a distinct bell-shaped silhouette against a slimmer one. To add even more vibrancy to her look, she wore metallic wedges, a shiny black envelope clutch, and bright, chunky enamel bangles. The cold weather blues don't stand a chance against this colorfully cool caped outfit.
