The Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue models know - having too many swimsuits is never a bad thing. I'll add to that, especially if you live in the water during summertime like I do. Personally, I tend to veer toward bandeau-style bikinis because they're sporty chic, comfortable, and don't cause tan lines. Swimwear Designer Spotlight: Syla

Ok, I admit this swimwear designer must know her stuff: she worked at Victoria's Secret for seven years. Sylvie Cachay's debut line of swimwear, Syla, consists of sharply cut suits, oversize beach towels in pretty tropical prints and matching sarongs. The prints are colorful and fun and are inspired by art deco and eighteenth-century chinoiserie, a Chinese artistic influence. Cachay combines youth and history to create modern swimwear. Yummy!

Though it's still Spring, Summer is fast approaching so you should already be on the prowl for some new sexy swimwear! Last week I showed you some of my current favorite suit trends: metallic bikinis, cut-out one pieces, exotic suits, pin up styles and surfing wear. Life & Style featured some celebs in their suits according to their body types - so helpful! I for one always like to buy suits that accentuate my small B cup chest - so below I have chosen a couple suits that will give my boobs a little boost. So whether or not you can float above water, buy one or two new stunning bathing suits this season but be sure it compliments your bod!

Fab Flash: Collette Dinnigan Resort Collection

A slew of models were at the Sydney Airport recently, but this time, they weren't there to catch a flight to a fashion show, because the catwalk was already there waiting for them at the Qantas First Lounge. Australian designer Collette Dinnigan showed off her latest Resort collection at the first-class lounge and some gorgeous swimwear, nautical-inspired and ruffle pieces were showcased.

You may be wondering why Collette chose the Sydney airport as her venue. Turns out, the creative director of the airlines, Marc Newsom, is her good friend. This was the first time in two years that Collette showed her collection in her hometown.

Wet n' Wild: Cut-Out One Pieces

For these I want you to envision yourself poolside in Palm Springs or the Hamptons - somewhere cool, calm and collected - not so much wet n' wild as Rio!. I have really come to appreciate cut-out one pieces over the years. Yes, they may create some of the funkiest tan lines but they are so Bond girl! Also, they are nice tummy hiders! I have a DKNY one that is neon green one shoulder with a side cut out & it really stands out amongst the crowd. I prefer these Bond girl suits in graphic prints or solids - let the peekaboo skin speak for itself.

I know some of you are already mad for swimwear. We constantly get bathing suit requests when celebs are spotted frolicking on the beach in their itty bitty bikinis. While there are many more bathing suit posts to come, the utterly feminine design duo Jovovich-Hawk have launched swimwear. Stay tuned for floral-print maillots and barely-there string bikinis. And hey, no fair! These gals have a built in model for their clothing line!
