Beauty Marked! A Shimmery Body Cream
Last week I told you about my old time favorite Nivea Silky Shimmer Body Lotion, $9, that I've been using for about five years now. Although I adore the way it glistens perfectly in the light, I think it's time to try something new. I mean let's face it: they've made so many shimmery body creams within the last five years that I'm bound to be missing out on something fab if I don't start experimenting ASAP!

What’s great about it is it’s the same formula as classic Nivea Body Lotion, only it's enhanced with shimmer that catches the light and gives you a little extra glow when you are going to a party or out at night. Last week I asked you guys to come beauty marking with me to help me find a new self tanner for my body. I bought this Ban De Soleil Streakguard Self Tanning Creme, $9, but I am not in love with it. It's not awful, but it streaks a bit and I'm not crazy about the color on my skin tone.

If companies could understand that by creating just one awesome body bronzer that blends flawlessly into your skin and transforms you into a gorgeous golden goddess as opposed to an orange one, then you will be loyal for life. I've found a few facial self tanners that I love, but I have yet to find a body bronzer that makes me brand loyal.
Lately, I've been using Ban de Soleil's Streakguard Self Tanning Creme, $9, because I really like so many of their other products, but this time around I wouldn't say that it was love at first bronze.

In preparation for my wedding, my makeup artist told me to go to a Prescriptives counter and have them custom blend a medium coverage foundation for me. This type of coverage helps to prevent shine and hides flaws, redness and blemishes.
I'm not going to lie, custom blending is a bit costly, however, as your skin lightens or darkens with the seasons, Prescriptives will adjust the color for you at no extra charge.

Last week I asked you gals to help me find a new, fresh smelling shower soap. I totally love my tried and true Dove White Beauty Bar, but I've been using it for so long now, that I'd like to explore other options.
