Beauty Marked! A Shimmery Body Cream

Last week I told you about my old time favorite Nivea Silky Shimmer Body Lotion, $9, that I've been using for about five years now. Although I adore the way it glistens perfectly in the light, I think it's time to try something new. I mean let's face it: they've made so many shimmery body creams within the last five years that I'm bound to be missing out on something fab if I don't start experimenting ASAP!

You guys were asked to go beauty marking to help me find a new awesome shimmer body lotion. I've checked your finds and I really like what I see. Here are a few that I've chosen to feature!

Beauty Mark #1 found by GirlInPink, is called Jergens Soft Shimmer Skin Radiance Moisturizer, $6. If this cream is anything like Jergen's original formula, I am sure it's great. Jergen's products have an awesome fragrance, they moisturize deeply and leave your skin feeling soft and supple. This one is infused with light reflectors for subtle radiance. I can't wait to try it.

read more Beauty Mark #2 found by swwonder, is called Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Body Gloss, $6. It is a super rich body cream that illuminates skin with a soft shimmer. It is made from pure cocoa butter and Vitamin E to ensure that your skin is left hydrated and smooth. Thanks for this suggestion, sswonder, you certainly can't beat this price!
Beauty Mark #3 found by foreverdizzy, is called Cranberry Shimmer Body Lotion from The Body Shop, $16. Just the sound of this is exciting. I love cranberry anything! This is a light and creamy moisturizer that absorbs quickly into the skin. It deeply conditions and leaves your skin feeling silky, smelling great and glowing.

OK, my brows are nice and unkept so I'm eager to see what kick ass tweezers you all beauty marked. This is a beauty tool you want to invest in. Think about it: you're dealing with the most delicate skin area and a very key facial feature. Properly defined brows can make or break your face. Perfect for eliminating even the most stubborn stray hairs, these professional-quality tweezers are the perfect tool for all your hair-removal needs. Use the point to tweeze smaller hairs and the broader more slanted side for general tweezing.

It may look strange but I'm willing to give it a whirl!

Jean Paul Gaultier Turned All His Models Into Amy Winehouse

Models at the latest Jean Paul Gaultier show were a big surprise when they hit the runway, and not just because of Gaultier's iconoclastic ensembles. The designer sent out an army of Amy Winehouse clones, all bedecked in huge beehives, thick retro eyeliner, and Ms. Winehouse's signature "beauty mark" (which was actually a piercing). One of the doppelgängers was even smoking a cigarette. Gaultier genuinely seems to be inspired by Amy's singular sense of style and her music as well - the soundtrack to the show was comprised entirely of her songs. So far, reviews of the collection are positive, and everyone involved seems well intentioned. Still, given how recently Amy passed, is it fair to ask whether copying her look is appropriate just yet?

Kate Moss celebrated her 38th year at dinner in London last night with her husband, Jamie Hince. They went for a meal at China Tang, inside The Dorchester hotel, where they were joined by one of Kate's BFFs, Stella McCartney. We celebrated the supermodel's milestone with a look back at Kate Moss's best jet-setting moments. This year brought a much quieter party for Kate, who's well-known for marking birthdays with huge blowouts. In recent years, she's hosted a Beautiful and the Damned-themed bash, caroused with friends for 18 hours in a row - short of her 36-hour goal - and even hosted a medieval party in her home's garden. Of course, in 2011 Kate's biggest bash was her wedding to Jamie Hince. Kate and Jamie married at her countryside home in a lavish three-day event that featured tents, dress-up areas, and a long list of A-list guests.

Box Office: Contraband Delivers the Goods

Audiences were looking for action in the theater this weekend, as the Mark Wahlberg-led new release Contraband won first place at the box office with $24.1 million. Following behind was the re-release of Beauty and the Beast in 3D, which earned $18.5 million, and was also a brand new entrant into theaters. In third place was the sequel Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, which added $11.5 million to its haul, while Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah's Joyful Noise was hot on its heels with $11.3 million. Rounding out the top five was Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows with $8.4 million.

Leonardo DiCaprio Cuts a Dapper Figure at the Globes

A dapper Leonardo DiCaprio hit the red carpet at this evening's Golden Globes. He is nominated this evening in the category of best actor for his work in Clint Eastwood's J. Edgar. This show marks a highlight of award season for Leo, who's been making the rounds all week long. He stepped out for Thursday's Critics' Choice Awards, then attended Friday's AFI honors. We'll see if Leo takes home a statue tonight, but until the winner is announced, check out our live fashion and beauty polls!

Beauty Marked! Your Favorite Summer Scents

After declaring Dior Addict 2 Summer Peonies one of my must-haves for June, I got to thinking about the importance of having a special Summer scent. After all, the change in seasons means finding a light-smelling perfume that's perfectly suited to the hotter months. The response to this challenge was truly overwhelming - but in a great way! The Beauty Marks ran the gamut from affordable mists, like ElleJay's Victoria's Secret Tahitian Vanilla Flower Body Spray, to pricier perfumes, such as Givenchy Very Irresistible Givenchy Summer Sun, about which Foreverdizzy raves: "Not only does the bottle reflect the mood of hot summer days, but the scent does, too!"
