Most stars have a signature style. You know, when you look at an item and automatically think of a specific person. That's what happened when I saw this military-style jacket - the first thing that popped into my head was, I can totally see it on Beyonce. It reminded me of her Alexander McQueen velvet band vest. Wow. It's not every week my faves elicit that response. The holiday party circuit seems to be revving up and it shows in star's styles. Celebrities are letting their guard down and experimenting with silhouettes, textures, frills, and fun - that's what I'm talking about. Camilla Belle exhibited all these with her futurama Alexander McQueen frock; it nearly took my breath away. Pale Casadei heels and Cartier jewels topped her off. Beyonce and her hubby Jay-Z strolled NYC together, both looking street sharp. Beyonce wore a casual embellished plaid dress but spiced it up with Louis Vuitton's Spring platforms, a red knit beret, and an eye-catching gold Dannijo Ruth Celia necklace ($690). A tan bag with gold studs upped her bling factor. Though I love Sasha Fierce's gutsy costumes, it's nice to see B looking laid-back chic.

While Beyonce did some shopping at Patricia Field in NYC, I did some major staring at her . . . bag! Is she carrying Diane von Furstenberg's Slouchy Gold Metallic Hobo ($995)? She sure is. I love the big slouchy shape and the gold metallic detail. It has a glitzy and ethnic vibe all at once. The brown leather strap is dope, too. It spiced up her outfit, that's for sure. Now if I only had $995 to spare.
