The sight of a bald woman usually makes people wonder. Who can forget the notorious Sinead O'Connor and her defiant antics? But what about a bald musical artist who morphs into a polar bear? While women in a lot of cultures are traditionally seen as feminine and attractive when they have long, flowing hair, there's something to be said for high-tech baldness - in this case, the result of more than three months of post-production. Not only is this song amazing, but the video is transfixing - if you can see past the balder-than-bald Bjork. Like Marc Jacobs' Spring '08 collection, Bjork is an acquired taste, but if you're willing, watch "Hunter."

Bjork's Infamous Swan Dress: Love It or Hate It?

I loved Bjork's infamous swan dress, designed by Marjan Pejoski, that she wore on the 2001 Oscars red carpet. Hear me out: you have to have your red carpet risk takers to mix things up no? Honestly, gorgeous gown after gorgeous gown can get a little redundant; don't we all love to gasp and gossip at least once during the red carpet parade? I also really admire Bjork as a musician and feel she's a true artist - her choice communicated this. What did you all think? Did you love it or hate it? I know Giggle's opinion.

Fab Read: Richard Avedon, Photographs 1946-2004

Did you enjoy your Avedon for breakfast? Good, now it's on to Avedon for lunch. After seeing his new exhibit at SFMOMA, I picked up Richard Avedon: Photographs 1946-2004 ($45). It's the first major retrospective - designed by Danish graphic designer Michael Jensen - of Avedon's work since his death in 2004. The title explains it all, but you have to see the photos to feel the impact. Bring Avedon into your home and see 125 reproductions of his greatest work, including fashion and portraits from his early Italian subjects of the '40s to his more recent shots. One of my favorite modern Avedon portraits is the 2004 shot of Bjork, mesmerizing.

There are too many performers I either missed or still have yet to witness live. Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, and Nirvana are amongst the ones I will never see because, well, they are no longer. Led Zeppelin, Bjork, and Diana Ross are still on my list. Oh, Diana. Such a Fab diva. I love this quickie performance she did, with a fun Michael Jackson cameo at the end. From her sexy white Halston-esque dress (I've heard rumors it's Halston?) to the round white stage, it's all so very . . . disco chic. Diana's got the voice and the moves; my favorite is at the very beginning when she throws her head down then back up and begins to shimmy. Upside down, boy you turn me, inside out, and round and round . . .
