Beauty Byte: Topshop Pulls "Jesus" Cosmetics

If you like religious kitsch, then don't plan a trip to Singapore. After receiving complaints about a cosmetics line called Lookin' Good For Jesus, Topshop has pulled all of the products from its shelves. The line features lip balm (in "virtuous vanilla"), bubble bath ("Feel like you're walking on water!"), and a "King-size" tote bag, among other cheeky items.

Catholics found the items "disrespectful and distasteful," and Topshop has pulled all of the products. The line is from Blue Q, which also makes the Dirty Girl body-care line. It's always a little bit jokey - witness its tongue-in-cheek Queen soap - but this is the first time I remember this much of a hullabaloo over the products. Have a look below. Walking downtown after dinner last night, we passed a newly opened candy store. Sure they had your standard KitKats, Jolly Ranchers and M&Ms, but what I really discovered is just heaven!

Chick Chocolates, a division of Seattle Chocolates, is a boutique gourmet chocolate factory producing these fabulous chocolates:

Lights, camera, action: Diane von Furstenberg put on a major show last night - attended by celebs like Fergie, Molly Sims, and Maggie Q. With American legends as her inspiration point, the designer dreamed up an eccentric and eclectic array of colorful liquid sequin gowns, graphic gaucho wraps, pajama suits, leather jackets, along with her signature print dresses. High slits, an overarching theme thus far during Fashion Week, also made its way on the runway in addition to sleek silk tunic dresses. Diane von Furstenberg's throwback references, like '70s-inspired pleated dresses, and modern, via a cropped star-embellished cropped jacket, were seamlessly intertwined, creating a covetable collection for every girl looking to be an American legend.
