What a fine time it has been for Gwyneth. Towards the end of the week, I found myself anxious to see what unique confection she would be wearing to the next Iron Man promotion. It was a tough decision for all of us, but I think this Preen dress paired with McQueen heels she wore to the Iron Man premiere and photocall in Rome was the winner of the week — across the board. Who knew Gwyneth was Read more

One of the hottest trends of the evening was body-conscious, aka skin-tight! It's not a surprise when Paris shows up in a tight dress, but on Alicia Keys and Mary J., the tight styles are definitely new. M. J. has her own take on the trend with a floor-length version, and Megan Fox rocks a can't-fail Herve Leger. As for the usually breathtaking Ms. Keys, it looks like this is one trend she could Read more

As we all know, the female form is a beautiful thing, and it was celebrated on the Fall runways. The waist has returned and if all else fails, throw a belt on over a sweater, cardi, coat or dress, and voila! But this is a ladylike bodacious we're talking about, so work those curves with class and a bit of sheen, like here at Burberry. Check out all my Fall 2007 coverage here! To see more Read more

Save for denim on denim suiting or brilliant colored leather, there's not too much literal interpretation, but rather a cool collection of womanly, curve-conscious design Read more
Ever wonder how your favorite designers started? Fashion Week is almost upon us, so we're prepping with a study of some of the top American designers. By now, the Wang girl is totally iconic; it's hard to imagine the world without Alexander Wang's vision of the downtown, edgy-cool chick. While urban street style existed before 2007, Alex Wang took it and refined it into something so insanely chic Read more

Now that we've had time to take in all of the red-carpet moments from last night's Golden Globes red carpet, it's time to take note of the top trend takeaways and the A-list celebs who wore them. We spotted a sea of fishtail hems, a bevy of corset-inspired bodices, an army of sequin embellishments, a fiery flash of crimsons and merlot hues, and a whole lot of nude and blush-tone gowns. Busy Philipps went bold and bright in a cobalt blue, body-conscious Carven sheath. The dress may be on the more understated side of things, but Busy capitalizes on its simplicity with her lovely add-ons, including a pair of embellished peep-toes, and a pair of mega-drop jeweled earrings that she spotlights with her hair pulled back into a high ponytail. We love the striking black and blue Read more

Lauren Conrad ran errands in LA yesterday wearing two of her favorite staples, a quilted Chanel bag and sleek skinny jeans. It seems Lauren has already accomplished one of her New Year's resolutions. Lauren Conrad shared a diet regimen she dubbed the "seven days to skinny jeans plan" on her website recently.
