I have a boot problem: I've discovered that my calves are too slim to fill out the top of some boots. Yes, there are worse things in life, but when endlessly searching for a stylish pair, it can be disheartening, not to mention unflattering.

Fab Body Guide: Perfectly Proportionate Shoulders

I have a blonde bombshell of a friend who is a self-proclaimed broad-shouldered gal. We recently went shopping together because she needed tops and dresses and I'm here to help! We ended up scoring her some new fun and feminine pieces that helped proportion her shoulder with the rest of her bodacious bod.

I'm sure broad-shouldered broad Jessica Biel faces this challenge everyday and you can see such a difference between when she wears something ultra femme (left) and something not so femme (right). Not to say gals with broad shoulders can't wear a tee shirt when going casual, but here are some tips and items to trick the eye into thinking you have perfectly proportionate shoulders. Hope they help!

Loose deep v-neck sweaters, and v-necks in general, are your best friend.
Slouchy, menswearish trousers create more volume on the bottom therefore balancing out the shoulders.
Shrunken blazers with a nipped in waist make the upper half appear more compact.
A long, swingy top plays up the curve of the hips.
Contrary to what you may think, suspenders cut the shoulders down the middle and elongate the torso.
A feminine, flirty blouse softens an angular frame.

Fab Body Guide: 1-2-3 Belts!

Day in and day out I see belt abuse. The belt is a fabulous accessory that is here to stay, but so many women do not know how to style them. There are a couple things to consider: the clothes you are pairing them with and your body type. I have taken a stand and created a little belt guide. I hope it's helpful and please spread the word! Proper belt users unite!

To create womanly curves:

Create a classic look like this Liz Claiborne Retro Polka-Dot Dress with white belt, $129. A corset-style belt carves out the waist and draws the eye inward giving you an hourglass figure.

read more To hide a tummy: You want to go with a wide belt that slightly dips in the front. This Hobo International 'Strength' Belt, $78, is cute and is worn a bit lower to offset a poochy stomach. It creates a nice blouson effect that is romantic and classic.
To play down wide hips: This Urban Outfitters Skinny Patent Belt, on sale for $15 (originally $24), is ideal. With a skinny style you can position it slightly above the natural waistline. This will elongate your legs and narrow your hips.

Though it's still Spring, Summer is fast approaching so you should already be on the prowl for some new sexy swimwear! Last week I showed you some of my current favorite suit trends: metallic bikinis, cut-out one pieces, exotic suits, pin up styles and surfing wear. Life & Style featured some celebs in their suits according to their body types - so helpful! I for one always like to buy suits that accentuate my small B cup chest - so below I have chosen a couple suits that will give my boobs a little boost. In general, banded-neck dresses are good for women with larger busts and it flatters the neck area as the dress drapes off the band therefore creating a loose silhouette throughout. Simply Fab: No See 'ems Blouse Front Closures

Busty girls can understand this fashion dilemma: you're wearing a button down blouse for a job interview or a business meeting and realize (when it's a little too late) that anyone standing within a foot of you can see your sexy lace bra through the crack between the buttons and your chest. The well endowed can now cover up those horrible gaps with No See 'ems from Atlanta-based company, Bug Catcherz.

Here's how to use the clear strip of heavy tape that's sticky on both sides.

Place the strip vertically on the part of your shirt with the buttons, and slip the opening in the middle of the strip around the problem area button.
Remove the two strips in the back and press firmly against your shirt.
Remove the two top strips, slip your button back on and press the strip against the other side of your shirt.
