Banish cold weather blahs forever with the upcoming bold & bright Fall offerings. Chloë Sevigny has been a style risk taker from day one. The proof is in the pictures. In honor of her birthday today - congrats, girl! - let's take a trip down red-carpet lane to admire this fearless, fashion-forward woman. Since '98, Chloë's style has not changed that drastically. She has always favored off-kilter, yet totally sexy pieces. Black is a staple, but she doesn't turn her back on bold colors. Yellow, fuchsia, orange, purple - they're all part of her closet. She never shies away from sheer and sliced, but also rocks conservative ensembles like second skin. And, get this, she wore an oversized bow headband back when whimsical wasn't the word. Lastly, she's got some killer legs. A true fashion chameleon, we heart you, Chloë.

2010 Spring: Calvin Klein, CK Jeans, and CK Underwear

Clean. Precise. Minimal. Three terms Calvin Klein wants you to use when describing its Spring '10 collection. Staying true to the house's less-is-more aesthetic, Francisco Costa has delivered a line of basics with a sexy utilitarian nature. You'll find organic fabrics and most colors of the rainbow: sand, white, and khaki as staples, canary, melon, poppy, fuchsia, turquoise, and cobalt as accents. Drawstring cargos, denim vests, fitted blazers, parkas, denim judo pants, and shirt dresses are all solid. But one print piece stands out as the cool black sheep: a black-and-white, tie-dye dress that's feminine and bold.

Swimsuits are also part of the Spring family - a two-piece in warm gray and a one piece in solid gray or gray Bengal print. The handbags are equally minimal; hobos, totes, and rounded clutches are smooth and unstructured, with gold and silver hardware. Wooden-stacked heels and flat sandals are au naturel and sporty.

I have to admit there's a lot of fashion's favorite color - black - in this week's favorites. But, to keep things lively, there's also a daring red Versace gown and a gorgeous teal draped Vionnet dress. It's a pretty well-rounded bunch, actually. But the crown goes to Anne Hathaway, who we haven't seen in a while, in her party-ready Marc Jacobs Resort dress. And check those big, bold earrings. Too cute. Say hello to my new sassy babies: these Ralph Lauren Red Bow Sandals ($75, originally $255). I wasn't lying when I told you I was feeling whimsical. They're such lookers, I couldn't not share the wealth. I figure, with the holidays on the horizon, they would be the perfect bold accessory. The heel is high - 3.9 inches! - but for that reasonable price and darling look, I'll suck it up. If you're color shy, they also come in black, but I highly encourage the red.

Look of the Day: True Stripes

Lookie here, candydoll is showing off her true stripes. Her black and white zebra miniskirt is one of the most fashion-forward I've seen of the print. To avoid appearing too busy, she paired her bold skirt with a black blazer and black sandals. Her red purse adds a dollop of color.
