Chanel's Croiserie Collection Was a Sunset Affair

This was one gorgeous cruise show, not just for the breezy dresses and chic swimsuits, but for the setting: Cap d'Antibes in the south of France at sunset. Attendees included Karl Lagerfeld's muses: Rachel Bilson, Blake Lively, Vanessa Paradis, and Alexa Chung, all decked in Chanel, lined the seaside runway outside the Hotel du Cap. The clothes emulated the classic Chanel woman who hits the beach - sleek black swimsuits were paired with pearls and boucle jackets; elegant dresses were styled over breezy pants. File under real beauty knows no age: a 46-year old Kristen McMenamy, a favorite model of Lagerfeld, strolling the runway in a black and white swimsuit and long robe, silver hair glinting.
