One nice thing about living in the city is the fast turnover rate: there are always new shops popping up. A Fab new clothing boutique is throwing an opening bash this week, and you're on the list. Their specialty is contemporary wear, so nothing too chichi, but you still want to break out the goods and wow 'em.

Nicole Richie Brings Her Fashionable Flair to Boston

Nicole Richie popped up on Boston's fashionable Newbury Street for the grand opening of the National Jean Company's new boutique yesterday. It was her latest stylish appearance after also stepping out to celebrate Fashion Star's success in NYC on Tuesday. Nicole's been busy promoting the reality competition alongside John Varvatos, though their fellow mentor, Jessica Simpson, hasn't joined them. Jessica's in the final weeks of her pregnancy, and John shared that Jessica's "counting the days" until the birth of her baby girl. Her impending delivery means that she also won't be attending this weekend's White House Correspondents' Dinner, though she's just one of the many stars who have attended the White House event in years past.

Matthew McConaughey Hits the Red Carpet For His Big Apple Premiere

Matthew McConaughey, in a Dolce & Gabanna suit, linked up with director Richard Linklater for the NYC premiere of Bernie last night. It's one of multiple projects Matthew has coming to theaters, but his female fans are likely more excited to see Matthew - and his abs - on display in Magic Mike. The Magic Mike trailer was released last week, and it, like we'd hoped, features plenty of six-pack-filled scenes from Matthew and costars Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, and more. Matthew's in the US after a trip to his fiancé Camila Alves's native Brazil. Camila was by Matthew's side for the Sao Paulo opening of the retailer Le Lis Blanc Noir Boutique flagship store. The appearance was one of Matthew's responsibilities as an international spokesman for the South American chain.

Panama's Style Factor Rises With the Opening of the Tantalo Hotel

After only a month since opening, the Tantalo Hotel in Panama is already generating major buzz. Located in the historic district of Casco Viejo, Panama City, the hotel features a boutique modern design that celebrates the historic colonial region while also looking forward with edgy original art, international cuisine, and a rocking rooftop bar.

One recent hotel guest raved that the Tantalo is a "fun-artistic-modern-chic hotel in the middle of old world charm, complete with deliciously creative cuisine and flirtatious cocktails. Friendly and warm staff. Very comfy bed that was appreciated after dancing all night on the roof! (sensational view up there!)"

Jessica Biel Jets From Justin to Cancun and Talks Total Recall

Jessica Biel joined Kate Beckinsale and Colin Farrell at a press event for Total Recall in Cancun yesterday. Jessica plays a kick-ass futuristic leader in the '90s remake, which hits theaters this Summer, while Colin's character is married to Kate on the big screen.

Jessica met up with her costars in Mexico after attending the opening of Jenni Kayne's Brentwood boutique last week. A few days before the fashionable LA appearance, Jessica wrapped up a trip to Europe with fiancé Justin Timberlake. Jessica might have been wedding dress shopping during the getaway, which also included a sweet dinner date with Justin. The couple is reportedly planning to wed this Summer, but in the meantime, Justin is staying busy with the launch of HomeMint, his latest venture with interior designer Estee Stanley.

Matthew, Camila, Levi, and Vida relocated to Austin a few months back to be closer to his family.

It sounds like Matthew could be spending more quality time with his best friend, Woody Harrelson, as well. Matthew and Woody may star in True Detective, an eight-part detective series about two officers who embark on a 17-year hunt to catch a serial killer. This isn't the first onscreen collaboration for Matthew and Woody, as they previously collaborated on EdTV and Surfer, Dude.

Tori Spelling Opens Up to Us About Her Surprise Pregnancy and Her Favorite Birthday Parties

You may want to call her the mother of reinvention. In the public eye since she was a teenager starring her dad's hit teenage soap opera, Beverly Hills, 90210, Tori Spelling has more recently been known as an innkeeper, a reality star, a best-selling author, a boutique owner, and a jewelry designer. But the role that's giving her the most attention these days is mom. Currently pregnant with her fourth child - who was conceived just one month after Tori gave birth to daughter Hattie in October (the family includes son Liam, 5, and daughter Stella, 3) - and due in September, the busy mama is taking all of her roles in stride.

At a party celebrating the release of her first party planning book, celebraTORI, at NYC's craft shop Make Meaning yesterday, we laughed as Tori revealed that her current pregnancy was a bit of a shock. She said, "All my friends keep asking me that: 'Was it planned?' Seriously, Hattie was 1 month old. Do you think it was planned? I was up all night with feedings. I don't know how he got that . . . to make this [pointing at her baby bump]!"

We sat down with Tori to talk about one of her favorite subjects, party planning, and how this pregnancy compares with her previous ones.

LilSugar: You are known for going all out for your kids’ birthday parties. How much input do you allow them to have?
Tori Spelling: They plan the whole party with me. I have always vowed not to be that person that was like, "Oh, you want that, oh, gosh, ugh, no, that’s not going to be very chic." We just had [Liam's] SpongeBob party. He said, "I want SpongeBob," and I was like, "OK, great" [rolling her eyes], then I was like, "Well, that's cool. I can make mini-sliders and call them krabby patties. I can make these big jellyfish and fish," and I was going on and on. I [said], "OK, hold it . . . Liam, what do you want?" He looked at me and said, "Mom, I just want a piñata." I was like, "Keep it simple, stupid. What are you doing? The kid wants a piñata." And it's true, we need some cute little things at the party, but he was all about the piñata. It’s not my call - whatever they want, they get . . . within reason! I mean, budgetary reason!

LS: So Hattie’s first birthday is going to sneak up on you right around the baby’s birth! Have you thought about her party at all?
TS: Yes, for sure! I have not thought about the theme, but I have thought about what I should do. Should I plan the party before I give birth? Because am I going to be freaking out! The baby is going to be born roughly a month before her birthday. I’m going to be walking around with a newborn at my 1-year-old’s birthday party! Crazy town! She loves to dance, so that did cross my mind. When she hears music, she goes nuts! I mean, her version of dance is like jump, jump, jump! Maybe we will have Hattie’s dance party.

LS: What was your favorite party as a child?
TS: Oh, my gosh, I think it was my 8th birthday party. That's the one I talk about in the book. That’s when I got my first opportunity to plan. It was a roller-skating party, so that was really cool. My mom let me pick out my outfit, and I totally looked like I was in the movie Grease. I had the spandex, hot pink leggings or whatever they are - they are now sold at American Apparel, but when we were younger, they were hot! I had a tube top and a little tied shirt that said "Tori" in rhinestones, white roller skates with neon pink laces, and hair out to here with little clips . . . It was awesome!

Maternity Clothes: Is Tighter Better?

At the opening of Valentino's Rodeo Drive boutique, mom-to-be Molly Sims told InStyle: "I'm stuffed in. This isn't maternity [in reference to her black lace Valentino gown], so I somehow miraculously fit. The tighter the clothes are around your belly, the smaller you look, in a weird sort of way." Sims isn't the only celeb who's favored a body-skimming look during pregnancy. Check out these other famous moms who abided by the philosophy that tighter is better. Ashlee Simpson and Minka Kelly Shop Sydney Ahead of a Huge Party

Ashlee Simpson and Minka Kelly walked between boutiques on Oxford Street in Sydney today. They picked up some goodies along the way, eventually wrapping up their afternoon with a few shopping bags in hand. Ashlee and Minka are Down Under for the opening of the new Marquee nightclub tonight. They're just a few of the celebrities who made the trek to Australia for the big event, including Ashlee's former brother-in-law Nick Lachey and his wife, Vanessa. Minka's rumored new flame, Wilmer Valderrama, is also in the country, as are Kellan Lutz and Paris Hilton. Paris's boyfriend, DJ Afrojack, is performing at the party after spending last weekend in Miami for the Winter Music Conference. The fun will continue tomorrow when Jermaine Dupri and Will.i.am take the stage at the new club, which is located inside the recently renovated Star Sydney resort.
