Dick Page, artistic director for Shiseido, assures a bold lip look can be done a lot easier than you think. In lieu of a primer, he recommends turning your lip pencil into a contouring tool to keep everything inside the lines. Not only does this makeup must have add staying power, but it also helps shape the lips and balance out unwanted tones. Plus, it's easier to apply because it doesn't require as much blending. But that shouldn't hinder you from using liquid to get your glow. An autumnal collection not only reminiscent of her travels, but also totally inspired by la femme jolie. Apart from the brand's signature animal-print wares (this time, in a digital dalmatian iteration), we spotted pretty peplum tops paired with colorful pencil skirts and patterned trousers with striped blouses for the Parisian girl on the go; '60s boxy gamine peacoats and styled and cropped fur capes with retro tweed separates fit for the refined fashionista; and an ethereal capsule of black-and-white wedding pieces for the bride-to-be. It's that time of year… festival season! Over the next few months, hipsters, trendsetters and music-lovers alike will be flocking to various music festivals all over the country. And as a matter of fact, I will be going to Coachella this year! I'm really excited. And to be honest, I cannot wait to dress up like a flower child for three days in a row... While I'm looking forward to the music, the number one thing on my mind right now is fashion. Or more accurately, what I am going to wear.

If you ask me, there are four major must-haves when packing for a fashionable festival getaway: shorts (short skirts can be dangerous), lightweight tops (it's hot), comfortable (but stylish) footwear and a few breezy dresses. Seeing as my team has already shared their expert picks for festival flair, I thought I'd spotlight my wardrobe essentials for the big weekend…

How to Achieve a Bare-Faced Look Fast

The 2012 runways were awash with natural beauties, but most of the models got a little bit of help with makeup. If you want to achieve this minimalist look, follow these easy steps from makeup artists Kristi Matamoros and Jodie Boland:

Cover, don't cake: Use your fingers to apply a tinted moisturizer as a base. Start at the nose and spread outward, then switch to your thumbs to get more coverage in areas like your cheeks. Work with your hands instead of a brush to help the foundation melt into your skin. If you need to hide blemishes and dark spots, add a layer of medium foundation or concealer in discolored areas.

Top it all off with pressed powder. But instead of sweeping over your entire face, avoid these areas: the bridge of your nose, the apples of your cheeks, the cupid's bow, and the area directly under your lip. This will help you get a natural shine in the center line of your face. Also, as the weather gets warmer, remember to carry plenty of blotting paper to dissipate sweat and shine.

Contouring: To bring definition to an otherwise boring look, use a bronzer in the hollow of your cheeks (try making a fish face if you can't find the area). Then spread illuminator in a C shape around the eyes from your brow bone to temples. Finally, add a flush of color on the apple of your cheeks. Add tinted lip balm, a coat of mascara, and brow gel to get a natural face ready for day-to-day wear.
