Whitney Port Brings Her Brights to NYC - Love It or Hate It?

Whitney Port left her hot spots in LA to promote her book, True Whit, in NYC, but it seems she's attempting to bring a little of the California sunshine with her via a super-bright, colorblocked ensemble. She wore not just a brightly hued mini but also an orange blazer with Aztec-inspired flair. Of course, because it's cold in New York, she covered up with a pair of nude tights and black booties, rounding out her tropical bright palette with weather-appropriate accessories. While color trends for Spring are bright and bold, does Whitney's look go too far or are you digging the funky-fun vibe?

Yigal Azrouël Fall Fashion Week 2010: What's Fab First Look

Yigal Azrouël's 2010 Fall Fashion runway collection was a mix of moods: soft and sexy draping juxtaposed with structured suit leg silhouettes, a muted neutral palette accented by a punch of color, and a play on masculine and feminine forms. According to Azrouël, the hybrid of different garments and fabrics creates new silhouettes and pseudo layers for Fall.

Rachel Comey showed us her sophisticated side for Fall '12, streamlining her usual quirk factor with a modern, refreshing twist. "Normally for Fall we dive into print and pattern and color," said Comey. "This time, I pulled all of that out and cleared the air." With that in mind, the designer showcased laser-cut cotton dresses and wool felt tops, digital-print knee-length skirts, pretty prints, and shiny boxy leather tops. Color pops included an oversized bright orange coat and dress and even a heart-print dress doused in hot pink. Comey's shoes, a cult favorite amongst many, included quirky-cool black-and-white cap-toe loafers, flatforms, and chunky ankle boots. To finish, Comey closed out the show with an array of cocktail-appropriate black dresses, ranging from a simple, slinky halter-neck LBD to a shimmering full-skirted version.
