I Want This Wardrobe: '80s Flashback, Lily and Carol Rhodes

It's a blast from the past! Check out Lily and sister Carol in Gossip Girl's throwback episode. Aren't they adorable? We're used to seeing Lily polished in the present but as a teen, via Brittany Snow, she was all about color and fun thanks to costume designer Meredith Markworth-Pollack.

The bad girl paired her tiered polka-dot dress with pink Givenchy cut-out heels, lace leggings from Urban Outfitters, and a cropped asymmetrical jacket. Rad. Her sister Carol, aka Krysten Ritter, opted for a more vintage look wearing a nautical dress by Ya-Ya, Jordache jean jacket, white boots, yellow drawstring bag, and loads of accessories. I can only imagine the trouble these two caused. Oh, did I mention '80s heartthrob Andrew McCarthy will make an appearance as Lily's music-executive father? If you like what you witness in tonight's episode, keep your eyes peeled for producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage's untitled Gossip Girl spinoff, which follows the crazy life of 17-year-old Lily in Los Angeles, circa 1983.

What is interesting to note about the beauties at the 17 Again LA premiere last night, was the variety. Brittany Snow shook things up in Erin Fetherston, while Michelle Tractenberg glammed it up in Marchesa, and Vanessa Hudgens toughened up a peach Zac Posen dress with a Linea Pelle leather belt. Longtime Fab pal Brittany Snow attended the LA premiere of 17 Again outshining everybody in her stylishly sassy ensemble. She kept the color palette light with a soft yellow Erin Fetherston dress, topped with a cropped gray and white cloudy blazer. Her finishing touches include a pair of strappy black patent Jimmy Choo sandals, Swarovski drop earrings, stacked bangles, and a black clutch. I wouldn't change a single thing . . . que bonita!

New York Fashion Week, Fall 2009: Heart Truth Red Dress Collection

Today was my first official full day of Fashion Week and I couldn't have kicked it off with a better show. The Heart Truth Red Dress Collection is a feel good show that benefits a good cause - heart disease in women. It was super fun because fearless celebrity females strutted their stuff in various red designer dresses. It was cool to see Vivica Fox sing down the runway in her super sparkly Jenny Packham gown, and gold medalist Nastia Liukin work it in a saucy BCBG LRD. These stars proved that you can make serious waves in a red dress. Good girl, bad girl. You have to admire a girl who can do a fashion double take. Though risky, Brittany took a chance in her black PVC mini, white tank and killer Jimmy Choo studded heels at the Teen Choice Awards Pre-Party. Works for me. Teen Choice Awards: Brittany Snow

Teen queen Brittany Snow looks lovely in her mini floral print strapless dress. Thanks to those hot red pumps, her look really pops. I never noticed how blue her eyes are; the blue flowers in her frock brighten them. It's all working for my girl here, even that white cocktail ring. Does it work for you, too?

The Look For Less: Brittany Snow

The friendly and fabulous Brittany Snow was doing her thing on MTV's TRL and simultaneously provided a look worth copying. What a doll. Her look is an easy one to imitate and you probably already have some of the necessary pieces. It's also an example of how one can be minimal and sassy at the same time. Brittany is serious on top and party on the bottom. Downplaying her Lego-esque Camilla and Marc sequin skirt with a casual navy V-neck sweater was necessary, because otherwise, it would have clashed with anything else. Finally, the pointy magenta pumps tie a feminine bow around this look.
