The Outnet's Got Some Competition - Browns Labels for Less

TheOutnet.com has some stiff competition coming its way. London's Browns boutique just launched its version of discount shopping with a subsite called LabelsforLess. The name says it all: the new site stocks an abundance of designer clothes and accessories - from Christian Louboutin, Marni, and Donna Karan - marked up to 70 percent off. Sweet. If I had the extra cash, I would jump on these rad Dries Van Noten Print Pumps ($339, originally $561), but they're still too rich for my blood.

Is there such a thing as a trendy classic? I say yes. The camel coat is back in full throttle. Designers have taken this hue and turned it into a variety of cozy styles. Take a look at Keira Knightley. The actress recently showed off her chic camel trench on the set of Last Night. I like how the longer length lends instant drama. This toasty color can be little tricky so choose a hue that complements your skin tone.

You know when you can tell a woman is enjoying her frock? Here's when. Angie is the sight of maxi dress perfection at the 8th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Balli in LA in this sheer green printed and belted Kaufman Franco dress. The print and fit are stellar, but the wraparound, crisscross brown belt takes it to a more interesting place. Angie always manages to look good, no - great, but this maxi fits her personality as well - unique, fun, and party ready. She could have stopped with the exotic dress, but she added further flair with disc chandelier earrings. It's official: statement earrings are redivivus.

Cheap and Chic: Brown Belt Obsessed

Who all is checking out No Doubt's reunion tour this Summer?! I am, for sure. I saw them years ago but remember it being epic; Gwen is such a great frontwoman and the band really rocks the house. Here she is swaggering along in LA looking pirate-esque. The key accessory that makes her look - aside from the coral L.A.M.B bag - is her low slung brown belt. I already felt a brown belt obsession coming on and now it's full-fledged. Gwen's still got it!

I don't have a lot of brown in my closet, so it impresses me when someone pulls the color off right. Jezrel chose head-to-toe brown for a tea party she recently attended. Say, doesn't she look as sweet as brown sugar? What really solidifies the look is her generous use of gold accessories. Brown and gold: a match made in fashion heaven.

A sandstorm hit the Golden Globes red carpet and now it's attacked neonbee. What I'd like to point out here is that beige hearts brown. Beige, being a neutral color, needs a rich hue like brown to plush it up. And I love how she belted her wrap cardigan for added interest. Smart thinking!
