When it comes to whimsy, Cynthia Rowley hits the nail on the head. I have a few Rowley pieces that I love and wear often, and her boutique in New York is unique and girly. You're Blowin' Up: Fancy Scented Bubbles For Grown-Ups

Bubbles remind most of us of our childhoods, and there's something sentimental about seeing them bob along brightly until they finally burst into thin air. Maison Francis Kurkdjian, however, has updated the concept with its Les Bulles d'Agathe Bubbles ($18). These sweet bubbles come in fresh Cold Mint, Pear, and Cut Herb fragrances. It's a cool idea, especially for parties, and it has us wondering whether we could create similarly sophisticated blowers with castile soap, water, and our favorite essential oils. Somehow, we have a feeling it won't turn out quite as nicely as a perfumer's would, but blowing bubbles sounds fun either way.
