2010 Spring: Calvin Klein, CK Jeans, and CK Underwear

Clean. Precise. Minimal. Three terms Calvin Klein wants you to use when describing its Spring '10 collection. Staying true to the house's less-is-more aesthetic, Francisco Costa has delivered a line of basics with a sexy utilitarian nature. You'll find organic fabrics and most colors of the rainbow: sand, white, and khaki as staples, canary, melon, poppy, fuchsia, turquoise, and cobalt as accents. Drawstring cargos, denim vests, fitted blazers, parkas, denim judo pants, and shirt dresses are all solid. But one print piece stands out as the cool black sheep: a black-and-white, tie-dye dress that's feminine and bold.

Swimsuits are also part of the Spring family - a two-piece in warm gray and a one piece in solid gray or gray Bengal print. The handbags are equally minimal; hobos, totes, and rounded clutches are smooth and unstructured, with gold and silver hardware. Wooden-stacked heels and flat sandals are au naturel and sporty.

Fab Ad: Calvin Klein Jeans Fall 2008

While most brands continue to use celebrities as models, Calvin Klein Jeans has replaced Kate Bosworth with real models for its Fall campaign. And these aren't just any unknown models. Abbey Lee, Agnete Hegelund, and Toni Garrn are the latest crop of It models posing for the black and white photos. These are supposed to remind you of the old-school Calvin Klein Jeans ads with Kate Moss and Jenny Shimizu - only these models are fully clothed. I dig the random posing. Fab Flash: Kate Bosworth Fronting Calvin Klein Jeans

Kate Bosworth has long been a fan of Calvin Klein, and it looks like the brand is reciprocating the sentiment: She landed the Spring ad campaign for Calvin Klein Jeans. The images were shot by David Sims in New York and aim to represent a "clean, pure and simple all-American" look. This is the actress' first global campaign, which will break in February issues of fashion magazines.

Fab Flash: Calvin Klein's Racy Video Campaign Causes a Stir

Calvin Klein is no stranger to censorship. Last year, the brand was prohibited from showing Eva Mendes's sexy lingerie ads, and now they're receiving another slap on the wrist. The brand's steamy new Calvin Klein Jeans video campaign, shot by Steven Meisel, has also been banned in the US.

The grainy commercial depicts hottie models - Anna Selezneva, Anna Jagodzinska, and Natasha Poly to name a few - all over each other in what looks to be a old basement. It's definitely steamy, but we've see way worse on TV screens. Calvin Klein is currently working on an edited version that will air on cable. Across the pond, our overseas friends will get to see the uncensored version on their tellies.

DJ Mark Ronson's concert in LA brought out many celebs, including the lovely Carmen Electra. The actress was dressed down but still stylish in her Joie feather-print blouse, wide-leg black jeans and Balenciaga motorcycle bag. The beaded bracelets with the bangles create a grungy effect perfect for a concert. And it looks like black nail polish is here to stay through Fall.

Eva Mendes strutted her exotic stuff on the red carpet wearing a shimmering V-neck Calvin Klein gown designed by her date Francisco Costa. Her dress is pretty, but it's her accessories that make her look unique. It was announced that Eva will continue to represent Calvin Klein by appearing in the both the Calvin Klein Jeans and the Calvin Klein Underwear Fall global ad campaigns. Hotness. The whole Calvin Klein craze started 40 years ago when the designer's best friend Barry Schwartz lent him $10,000 to start a collection of women's coats. He's come a long way since then. In four decades, Klein has created a global empire with sub-brands like Calvin Klein Collection, Calvin Klein Jeans, and Calvin Klein Underwear. Klein practically made Kate Moss a household name by using her for several racy underwear ads, and was responsible for taking Christy Turlington to supermodel status. The list goes on and on.
