Sweet florals are nice, but have you ever seen them look so chic? Fab reader noreese elevates a pretty printed blouse and takes the look to floral chic with a high-waist skirt, headband, and sleek metallic sandals. 2010 Spring: Calvin Klein, CK Jeans, and CK Underwear

Clean. Precise. Minimal. Three terms Calvin Klein wants you to use when describing its Spring '10 collection. Staying true to the house's less-is-more aesthetic, Francisco Costa has delivered a line of basics with a sexy utilitarian nature. You'll find organic fabrics and most colors of the rainbow: sand, white, and khaki as staples, canary, melon, poppy, fuchsia, turquoise, and cobalt as accents. Drawstring cargos, denim vests, fitted blazers, parkas, denim judo pants, and shirt dresses are all solid. But one print piece stands out as the cool black sheep: a black-and-white, tie-dye dress that's feminine and bold.

Swimsuits are also part of the Spring family - a two-piece in warm gray and a one piece in solid gray or gray Bengal print. The handbags are equally minimal; hobos, totes, and rounded clutches are smooth and unstructured, with gold and silver hardware. Wooden-stacked heels and flat sandals are au naturel and sporty.

While most brands continue to use celebrities as models, Calvin Klein Jeans has replaced Kate Bosworth with real models for its Fall campaign. And these aren't just any unknown models. Abbey Lee, Agnete Hegelund, and Toni Garrn are the latest crop of It models posing for the black and white photos. These are supposed to remind you of the old-school Calvin Klein Jeans ads with Kate Moss and Jenny Shimizu - only these models are fully clothed. I dig the random posing. The images were shot by David Sims in New York and aim to represent a "clean, pure and simple all-American" look. J Brand Goes Beyond Jeans and Jumps Into Sportswear

We love our J Brand jeans just as much as any other girl, and there will be more reason to shop the line come Spring. J Brand will be launching a whopping 140-piece sportswear line in 2012 filled with leather jackets, tops, pants, and skirts. The line will be spearheaded by new design director, Donald Oliver, whose past accolades come from DKNY Jeans, Vera Wang, Gap and Calvin Klein. “From day one, we wanted her [the customer] to be easygoing, uncomplicated, subtly sophisticated," said Oliver. "We wanted her to feel relevant, not trendy, not like she’s trying too hard, which is why I think the garments have an ease about them.” The line is set to range from $200 and $1,500 and, from what we see so far, includes a modern and minimal palette of cool leather jackets, tops, and skirts. Additionally, J Brand noted that it has plans to launch shoes and handbags in 2013 and a menswear line in the next 18 months. Kate Bosworth joined her design partner and friend, Cher Coulter, on a plane out of LAX last night. The stylish pair caught a flight bound for NYC, where Fall Fashion Week has been under way for a week. Kate prepped for her trip with a last-minute stop at her hair salon and made sure to fit in time with her man, Alexander Skarsgard. Kate and Cher, who collaborate on their affordable accessories line, JewelMint, may gain some inspiration from what's coming down the runways. Kate threw on her latest plain Calvin Klein look for Francisco Costa's latest for the brand today. Kate, who's a former face of CK Jeans, may just have something up her sleeve with the company. She rubbed shoulders in the front row with both Kerry Washington and Zoe Saldana, who arrived in the Big Apple a few days ago too, and has also been affiliated with CK underwear.

Frédéric Malle's New Androgynous and Outrageous Fragrance

New from Frédéric Malle in collaboration with Sophia Grojsman (the nose behind scent successes such as Lancome Tresor, YSL Paris and Calvin Klein Eternity) is an exclusive scent for Barneys Co-Op. Designed for men and women alike, the fragrance is a succulent blend of capirihna, clean laundry, green apple, orange blossom, amber and cedar.

I'm curious to know whether the scent of clean laundry means we'll be seeing-er, sniffing-more of that in other fragrances. Imagine if there's a new wave of Eau de All or Eau de Tide coming soon!

Although the fragrance is not 100% organic, the packaging is made from recycled cardboard, so at least it's a step in the right direction. According to an interview with Simon Doonan of Barneys New York, Malle says that the fragrance "had to be right for Co-Op. I wanted an androgynous, super-sexy scent, like a good pair of jeans ..."

I like how that comparison resonates and it kind of makes me want to smell it now. What do you think? A bottle of Outrageous sells for $110 and is available in a 100ml size only.
