Is it just me, or is this Manolo Blahnik Campari Suede Mary Jane ($555), G.I. Jane gone wrong? Even though Marc Jacobs claims camouflage is a forever icon, sometimes you just have to say no. I'm all for the occasional patriotic print, but Mary Janes?! I think camo is best worn casual, not dressy. I could only see SJP pulling these off - not me.

Heidi Merrick Camo Dress: Love It or Hate It?

We've featured camouflage prints before on Love It or Hate It, and I have to say: I am usually not a fan of camo. Judging from your response to our post about camo boots, FabSugar readers aren't big fans either.

However, I must say I am strangely drawn to this Heidi Merrick Camo Morrison Dress, sold here for $430. Made from sturdy, heavy linen, the dress is composed of such perfect fall colors, and I love the retro silhouette created by the high neck, the wide belt, and the box pleats. Tell me what you think: Can you get past the camo? Love it or hate it?

So, camo was definitely not on my list of What's Hot for Fall, but then I came across these lovely pink camo boots.

2010 Spring: J.Crew

A kid in a candy store. J.Crew recently presented its Spring confections and I'm salivating already. Jenna Lyons played upon the usual frilly vs. preppy aesthetic, with loads of neutrals and pops of neon. Khaki outerwear atop sequins and cargo shorts are meshed with girlie stripes and soft plaids. Styling is exaggerated - I don't mind, better to inspire. Who else can pull off camo and ruffles? Sandals range from preppy to exotic, and jewelry plays a pretty role. J.Crew even tries its hand at the pantless trend, successfully. Hats and cross-body bags complete the disheveled-chic aesthetic.

Let's see, we have doo.ri's bejeweled tights, DVF's fuzzy leopard leggings, Narciso's camo pants, Wang's sexy cutouts, Balmain's parachutes, and Isabel Marant's lamé bloomer/knee-high boot fusion (left). I don't want to spoil your appetite . . . feast.

Put Jack Johnson, Ben Stiller, and Hawaii together and what do you get? Hot funny fun. "Taylor" is a groovy, uplifting melody (aren't all of JJ's?), but the video is worth five minutes of your life, especially if you're a fan of spaz Ben Stiller. Ben arrives in Hawaii to direct a JJ video, but first he runs over a chicken. Of course, JJ is totally cool about it. Next we see Ben singing JJ in the most uncool way, but hey, that's Ben. JJ and his crew have some pretty funny facial expressions right back. And the fantasy of Ben in his blue camo wetsuit - see him ride!

How refreshing to see Natalie Portman in a colorful cool ensemble. The smiley actress arrived at Chateau Marmont in LA in a breezy striped dress topped with a navy cardigan. Her accessories include two-tone Ray Bans, layered bead necklace, yellow flats, and a camo bag. What's especially inspirational here is how her accessories simultaneously complement and clash with the dress. As Tim Gunn says, she makes it work.

Manolo Blahnik Camouflage Pump: Love It or Hate It?

On paper, this shoe sounds like an utter disaster: a camouflage print on satiny fabric, adorned with rhinestone buckles and fashioned into a four-inch pump. If someone had described this shoe to me before I had seen it, I would have anticipated wretched ugliness. And yet for some reason I can't help but love this Manolo Blahnik Jeweled D'Orsay Pump, available for $645 here. I love the way the elegant silhouette and the jeweled detailing on the vamp contrasts with the camo pattern for a very funky look. However, this is definitely a bold shoe that I can see many people disliking, so tell me whether you love it or hate it!
