With the Internet and email, cards can feel like a thing of the past. I certainly don't mind going back in time with cards as chic as Inslee's Personalized Cards ($28 for box of 10). One is more darling than the next.

Former wedding planner and special events coordinator Bonnie Marcus started her stationery company Bonnie's StylePress as a result of always having to custom create innovative invitations for her ultra-stylish clients. No stranger to fashion herself (she worked with top designers like Diane Von Furstenberg), she felt the need to provide chic stationery for equally stylish customers.
In 2006, Bonnie won the American Express "Make Mine a $Million Business" contest for women entrepreneurs and is continuing to wow style mavens with her collections named "Down the Aisle," "Expecting in Style," "Beautiful Baby," "On the Move," "Party" and "Holiday Style."

If you're short on time or ideas (the clock is ticking!), gift cards are the perfect way to go. Some might argue that gift cards are impersonal but I disagree. You can give them to people you don't know very well, but they're also the perfect gift for difficult friends and family members.

Business cards seem so old-fashioned in the digital age, but high-powered people still love to swap them. So if you have to tote them around, you might as well have a chic business-card case to carry them in. Really, don't we all want an excuse to buy another accessory?

Your babe may not have started talking yet, but that doesn't mean he or she can't scribble a card. Okay, maybe mommy will have to do the writing, but these Handsome Devil Press Goochy Goo Baby Greeting Cards, $3.50 each, are too precious not to mention.
The Ga Ga Goo Goo (left) is my favorite for a baby girl.

I hope I don't shock you all when I confess I don't have a spiffy business card holder. The last one I had was sort of funky (it had multi-colored polka dots on it) and I've outgrown it, to say the least. Not that I want one that is stuffy and boring but I want something nice and professional - but fashionable.

I've told you before about the snarky yet delightful cards from Bald Guy Greetings. But with all the celebrity breakups lately (farewell Whitney and Bobby! goodbye Kate and Chris!), I'd be remiss not to mention the company's hilarious post-breakup cards, available for $3 each here.
