You know you made them at camp. Lots of them. And though I prefer picking them up in foreign lands as mementos, I can't help but collect more and more friendship bracelets. When I zeroed in on Amanda Seyfried's futurama Doo.Ri dress and black sparkly Pierre Hardy shoes, I was pleasantly surprised to see a couple stringy, colorful bracelets on her wrist - here's a closer peek. I love sparkle and statement on the red carpet, but the unexpected youthful twist is totally fun. Take your pick: old-school string, rhinestones, charms, ribbons, classic chains, and beads. Or, go back to camp, and DIY!

Is it just me or is it red hot in here? I'm not opposed to donning a LRD but I prefer to take the alternate route with red accessories. They're ultra sexy, ultra sassy, and not so in-your-face. A scarf necklace: What a cool concept. I always welcome the fusion of two fashion categories, because the result is almost always uniquely interesting. This Cynthia Dugan Jewelry Silver & Leather Scarf Necklace ($195) fits the description. It's a scarf in that it ties in the front but it's also a necklace due to the material. I had to have the look, minus the price tag, so I set out on a hunt for something similar.

Well, well, look what we have here. This Catherine Michiels Washed Silk Tie ($20) can definitely take the place of the scarf tie above. It's black and silver, and the best part is that it can be worn as a necklace or a bracelet. At that price, I'll take the gray and silver one, too!

The baby bump is growing but Nicole Richie always takes the time to look stylish for the media.
