Behind The Seams: Model.Live Launch Party

Remember Madeline, Austria, and Cato from Vogue's new modeling reality show, Model.Live? The online show is now four episodes in, but last night at the Bowery Hotel in NYC, Vogue.TV and IMG hosted a celebration for the launch. Of course, the models and now-reality-starlets showed up looking gorgeous in different variations of LBDs. Cato (right) is my favorite; who's yours?

Actress Becki Newton was also there, as were famous models Jacquetta Wheeler, Kristy Hume, Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann, and socialite Olivia Palermo. As you can imagine, there was lots of posing, smiling, and socializing. Sounds like my kind of party.

The Hunger Games' release date of Mar. 23 still feels so far away, considering how excited we are about the movie. To quench that thirst, there's a new trailer to watch featuring all-new footage of the tributes practicing for the arena, Katniss and Peeta being interviewed by Caesar Flickerman, and an emphasis placed on the all-important Mockingjay pin. We see Katniss giving it to her terrified sister before the reaping, and then later, Cinna furtively placing it on Katniss's arena clothes.

Every new look at this film gets me more pumped, since it seems to be loyal to the book and appears to be as spine-chilling as it should be (honestly, Cato throwing that spear kind of made me quake in my boots). To watch the new trailer, just keep reading.

See The Hunger Games Cast in Vanity Fair!

Next March, we'll watch as the cast of The Hunger Games will hunt each other until the death, but for now you can see a few notable tributes, including Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth, posed for a spread in Vanity Fair. The cute cast looks decidedly rested, well fed, and not like they want to kill each other at all. It's a stark contrast to their characters, who'll get down to hand-to-hand combat in the arena. Lawrence and Hutcherson also had a few things to say about the books and their characters:

Lawrence, on her character: “Katniss is an incredible character: she’s a hunter but not a killer, a 16-year-old who’s being forced into the arena. These kids are killing one another only because if they don’t they’ll die. It’s heartbreaking.”
Hutcherson, on shooting and his costar: “I literally read all three books over the course of five days. My mind was blown by how much I felt I was like Peeta. We shot in the forest near Asheville, North Carolina - a lot of fight scenes, very physically demanding. Jennifer and I totally hit it off. We’re both crazy people - we don’t hold anything back.”
