Lily Allen Brings On the Bling

She already has a clothing line, now Lily Allen is embracing bling. The British singer is reportedly working on a jewelry collection comprised of nine different ranges, designed for women between the ages of 14 and 40. Lily has been involved in every aspect of the design, which is inspired by her funky London style, as well as flowers and animals. Look out for the line, called Lily Allen, in September. Emma Watson = Fashion Designer?

UPDATE: Sadly, Emma Watson reps have shut down any rumors of Watson designing a clothing line. I guess it was too good to be true . . .

Burberry hottie, Emma Watson, is rumored to be adding celebrity designer to her hefty resume. Word has it the actress is "getting advice from her fashion designer pals" on a clothing collection that will donate proceeds to children's charity fund, UNICEF. There's no doubt the budding stylista has an immaculate sense of style, but can that be translated into a clothing line? We'll let you be the judge.

Natalia V, The Model/Designer Dark Horse

She's a pretty kick ass model. She and her hubbie have reached power couple status. She is the brand ambassador for lingerie and swimwear brand Etam. She's simply glass-lickin' good. Next up for the multitasking model is a guest designer spot for knit house Lutz & Palmos. The electric gang of other guest designers for the brand include Kirsten Dunst and Jane Birkin; it will be interesting to see what the sweet-faced Russian will bring to the pre-Spring lineup.

Fab Flash: Gwyneth Paltrow, Fashion Designer

Gwyneth Paltrow is giving us the GOOP on her latest endeavor: fashion design. That's right, people, the jack of all trades has teamed up with French jersey brand, Zoe Tee’s, to create a clothing line called Zoe Tee’s Loves Gwyneth Paltrow. "Gwyneth's style fits perfectly with the brand," said Laure Pariente, creative director of Zoe Tee's. "She knows how to mix basics and give jersey a stylish edge."

The collection, inspired by her own style, '70s rock glamour, and menswear, will include tees, dresses and leggings made out of cashmere blends, recycled cotton, and wool mesh. Interested? Gwyneth Paltrow for Zoe's Tees debuts in the Fall with a second collection to follow next Spring. All proceeds will be donated to Kids Company, a charity Paltrow selected. There's no stopping the multifaceted star!

On Our Radar: Mischa Barton Creates Hair Accessories

Banking on her hippie aesthetic, Mischa Barton has teamed up with designer Stacey Lapidus to create a hair accessories collection.

“Accessories are fun and they’re easy to wear. I’ve always loved headbands and have worn Stacey’s headbands for a while,” said Barton, shown left wearing one of Stacey's creations.

The Mischa Barton for Stacey Lapidus line will include groovy headbands made out of feathers, silk, crystals, and pearls. The full collection was shown in NY during Fashion Week festivities. The headbands range from $40 to $200 and will be sold at boutiques and specialty stores.

No one can knock The Hills' LC for being lazy. She recently made history revealing that she will be designing a Lauren Conrad Collection couture gown for the trophy girls (there has to be a better name for them) for the Emmy awards next month.

Lauren gushed, "I am so excited that the Academy has asked me to design a dress for this year’s Emmy Awards. I will be doing a red carpet look that still reflects the simple classic design of the Lauren Conrad Collection but with a black tie twist."

Lauren's clothing collection has been dissed for its high prices and overly simple designs, although I feel her last collection was more interesting. Are you at all curious to see Lauren's couture Emmy dress?

It's been a huge year for LC; between her friendships, fashion line, and hit TV show, this starlet is bigger and better than ever. We had a chance to catch up with her and talk about love, happiness, food, fitness and just about everything else. The first time Fab came face to face with the reality darling was at LA Fashion Week back in October, where only a few words were exchanged. Next, we interviewed her shortly on the pink carpet at the 12th Annual Victoria's Secret fashion show. This time LC gets a bit more up close and personal about her busy life, and the highlight of her past busy year, starting her clothing line.

We know you have a ton of projects going on right now. What does a typical day look like for you?

They are all kind of different; this week is crazy because we have a photo shoot every single day. Except Wednesday, I am not the model, I’m shooting my resort look book and I have to be there all day, so those are actually even longer. It's almost more work when you are not the model; it's like an 11 or 12-hour day. Normally we film a few days out of the week and other days we are kind of doing other stuff. We keep pretty busy.

Have you ever come across anyone in all of your nights out that made you really starstruck? Any fun celebrities?

Actually yeah, I met Marc Jacobs when we were filming and I got so nervous when I saw him that I didn’t really know what to do. I was trying to act cool, but I didn’t even stand up to shake his hand. I actually came off a little bit too cold, like I didn’t really care and I felt kind of bad. I get really starstruck over really random people and designers.

Do you have any Summer must have items?

Sunscreen. I use a lot less of everything during the Summer - less makeup and almost no hair products. Summer is a little more natural I feel like. I think good bikinis because it's Summer!

Are you going to be at New York Fashion Week in September? Working or for fun?

Yeah, right now I am planning on it, but I never know for sure. Kelly [Cutrone] hasn’t told us whether we are working yet or not. I will either have to go out with Kelly or I will just go out to see some of the shows.

Do you prefer bags or shoes?

Oh, shoes!

Heels or flats?

Heels.

Karl or Marc?

Karl!

I officially declare 2008 as the year of the celebrity designer. Seriously, who didn't try their hand at fashion designing? Some granted rave reviews, others, well, you tell me. From reality stars to actresses to singers, these celebrities all had something to say about style this year. Nicole Richie offered up her affordable line of chic jewels, The Hills girl Whitney Port debuted her designing talent with Eve & A, and even LL Cool J grabbed a piece of the action with his Sears line! It's Official: Lindsay Lohan Out at Ungaro

It was a media doozy last year when fashion darling Esteban Cortezar left Ungaro, and the house hired Lindsay Lohan as its "artistic advisor." Now, one questionable Spring collection later, the celebrity designer has confirmed she is no longer with the fashion house. When asked why she wasn't present at Ungaro's Fall '10 runway show this week, Lohan responded, “Because I don’t work for them anymore. There's legal things going on; I can’t really discuss it." Ungaro owner Asim Abdullah also commented stating, "She's not involved in this [Fall '10] collection." Looks like it's the end of the road for Lohan and Ungaro - are you surprised?
