Take a short break with us to find out how we met two of our favorite gals, Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port from The Hills. Today was Day Two of LA Fashion Week and we had just finished our backstage interview with designer Jeremy Scott (stay tuned for his runway review and our exclusive interview). We were turning a corner when we stopped dead in our fashionable tracks - LC and Whitney were chillin' against a wall, looking chic as ever. Fab duty called so we approached them, introduced ourselves and snapped a pic. Then we all lived happily and stylishly ever after. Attention Gossip Girl lovahs. We had a Leighton Meester sighting at the Phillip Lim Spring show. As expected, the hottie looked styled to perfection in a Lim polka-dot dress, belted gray cardi, and multi-strap boots by Christian Louboutin. The combo is unexpected, yet so cool. She's beautiful on-screen and even more ferocious off-screen.

Eva Mendes took a break from her boat trip with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana to enjoy the sights in Italy. Louis Vuitton Tweets - Will You Follow?

You know it's the place to be when fashion heavyweights are signing up. Louis Vuitton just announced a couple things, joining online message board Twitter being one of them. This is LV's first attempt at social media. Interesting. If you desire to keep up with the luxury brand's new product launches, progressive collaborations, celebrity sightings, and privileged details from private events, follow louisvuitton_US.

As well, it has launched its official e-commerce site, louisvuitton.com. Since eluxury.com, the only site that carried official LV products online, is folding, the company has moved shop. It's launching this Totally Monogram tote ($1,000) with all this online news. This is another first for the company: debuting a new product online.

Simplicity can be such a beautiful sight sometimes. Behold Molly Sims at the Geoffrey Beene fashion scholarship dinner. It probably took her a total of 10 minutes to throw on that entire outfit: the black Josef Statkus strapless jumpsuit, strappy studded sandals, black cocktail ring, and metallic snakeskin clutch. Celebrity Style: Jennifer Connelly

Jennifer Connelly knows a dramatic shoe can make a look. Amen to that. A fan of funky footwear, she wore lace open-toe lace-up Givenchy booties to the Late Show With David Letterman. She must have been a tad chilly, showing off her toned gams, and her sleek black coat provided some additional polish. The only jewels in sight were a few rings, but really, aren't we all gawking at those shoes anyway? Note to self: When in a holiday rush, grab a Fab coat, and slip on some super fresh shoes. Almost sounds too easy.

Fab Times at New York Fashion Week

You heard about my fashion week fumbles, but that's just a result of the stars not aligning quite right this time around. Though it's a fast and furious week, it's a fabulous week. I wouldn't have it be any different, really. Although having a town car take me from show to show would be a-mazing. One can dream right? Now that I've sifted through the runway looks, chosen my favorites, started a mental wish list, and gotten over my jet lag, I can share with you the Fab times at New York Fashion Week.

Most Fab show? This one is always a toughie; either Rodarte or Oscar de la Renta. Rodarte felt like I'd stepped into an alternate fashion universe, and Oscar was just so beautiful and rich. Oh! The Project Runway finalist show was pretty exciting too.

Hottest handbag sighting: Yves Saint Laurent Besace Flap Bag ($1,995).
Most Fab moment? Eating and drinking with Rachel Zoe at the DVF dinner; it was just really chill, and she was approachable and chatty.
Most awesome celebrity sighting? You can read all about the celebrity front rows on ELLE.com, but for me personally: Parker Posey at Cynthia Rowley. Seeing the original Party Girl was a very pleasant surprise.
Best swag: Fancy scented candles - because I absolutely refuse to spend $40 on a candle!
Item I really want to buy (and can maybe afford) come Fall: Anything by Shipley & Halmos.

Number of Anna Wintour sightings: numerous. Number of Carine Roitfeld sightings: only two.
Items I managed to buy between breaks (you know me): A pair of Juicy Fruit pink Guiseppe Zanotti python flats, two Marc by Marc Jacobs umbrellas, a gray woven leather Lauren Merkin clutch (on sale), and the perfect denim vest from H&M.
Three favorite shows overall, for the clothes: Bill Blass, Rodarte, and Proenza Schouler.

Celebrity Style: Rachel Bilson

Rachel Bilson looks mighty dressed up for a grocery store outing (well, aside from the Havaianas). The actress threw on See by Chloe's silk printed dress, but maintained ease with flip-flops. She left her green Chanel shades behind and opted for a pair of brown Ray Ban Wayfarers. No other accessories - except for a bag - are in sight. It makes sense considering she's walking the streets and not the red carpet.

Trend Alert: Step Into the Green

Kate Bosworth's a sight of shimmering beauty, but what really caught my attention here were her green Miu Miu platform pumps. In fact, I think we should all step into the green. This earthy hue has made a comeback in an abundance of textures ranging from rich, suede booties to sleek leather combinations. It'll surely take the place of boring brown footwear and will complete any Fall ensemble. Remember, it's all in the details!

Fashion Week Quickie: A Kruger Souvenir

Hands down, my best celebrity sighting at New York Fashion Week was Fab favorite Diane Kruger. I don't know what it is about her. No, actually, I do. She's demure and ladylike, but also experimental and youthful. This is how I like to describe my own personal style. And, just when you think you've nailed down her look, she wears something totally fresh and unexpected. She only attended the Tommy Hilfiger show - in mad plaid - and I had direct view of her. If you asked me to describe the Spring Hilfiger collection, you'd get a hazy explanation, because my eyes were struggling to stay on her while taking in the sporty, elegant clothes; it's usually the other way around. While Diane was whisked away too soon for me to catch her, I pulled a fast one and took her seat holder as a Fashion Week souvenir. Care to join the Fab fan club?
