Her Madge-esty looked fittingly regal and gothic when she recently donned Givenchy's multi-layer chain necklace from his Fall collection. Something about the combination of all-black and heavy Mr. T-style chains is seriously lethal, in a good way. We can thank the brand's designer Riccardo Tisci for injecting feminine goth into our closets. Now if only said injection didn't bruise our bank accounts so badly . . .

My heart skipped a beat when I saw this Marciano Cynthia Multi-Layer Cross Necklace ($198), because it meant I could look designer but not adopt its spending habits. True, the price tag isn't cheap, but it beats paying thousands for the real deal. The way I see it, it's an investment necklace, and will be worth every penny when you get compliments left and right.

Gemma Degara Chain Shoulder Pads: Love It or Hate It?

I know bold shoulders are all the rage, but would you wear these Gemma Degara Chain Shoulder Pads ($95) to enhance them? It's definitely an interesting concept - part cape, part shoulder pads, part necklace. I would perhaps give it a whirl, but not in that exact way! You?

Who Wore It Better? H&M Multicolored Sweater Dress

One multicolored H&M sweater dress, two completely different ways. Rihanna opted for an eccentric version, wearing it with a Louis Vuitton fanny pack, chunky combat boots, and a chain necklace. Alternately, Katy wore her sweater dress in a womanly way, with high-heeled over-the-knee boots, a double-strap belt, and metallic bag. Both ladies ooze confidence, but this is a matter of taste - do you prefer the badass or the babe?

All of this sale goodness is part of their Last Call Sale, so the size availability is pretty touch-and-go, but everything from Chloe to Marc by Marc Jacobs to Manolo Blahnik is represented. Besides, beggars can't be choosers, can they?

Probably not, so I choose this Linda Levinson Silver Layered Chain Necklace, $88 (originally $175), to prey upon. It's a total eye catcher, a great way to jazz up an outfit. And the price is not too shabby, either!

If this is what love looks like, then I wanna be in love! SaraDaisyJane's interpretation of love is quite stylish. The tee sets the tone and the accompanying pieces jazz it up. The Vivienne Westwood jacket is sharp and that multi-cross necklace and chain platforms rock it all out.

Look of the Day: Subtle Chains

Bellakoko soaked in the sun today wearing a refreshing palette of navy, cream, and turquoise. I'm smitten with the nautical vibe, but what really caught my eye were the subtle chains around her ankles. I like how she balanced out the metal toughness with nude platform pumps - so fresh.

Glitterati: Gold & Citrus

Highlighting local talent is always nice, so allow me to introduce Gold & Citrus, a new jewelry line based in San Francisco. Founders Sara and Rich are in this together: Sara is the jewelry designer, Rich is the website designer. The former creates made-to-order pieces out of everything from beads to gemstones, feathers to antique sequins. And the only machine she uses is her sewing machine. Cool.

The current collection is necklace-heavy, but also includes some funky body chains and a headpiece. The common theme is all the creations combine luxury and playfulness. My favorite is this Tangelo Necklace ($376). It's exotic, and looks like three necklaces in one.

Behind the Seams: Stars Mix and Mingle for Rag & Bone in LA

Gossip boy Ed Westwick hosted a bash at LA's Confederacy for artist Todd DiCiurcio's new show Heartstrings over the weekend. It was sponsored by Rag & Bone, so as you can imagine, the crowd was understated and styley. Ed's girl, Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr stood out in her androgynous pinstripe suit and chunky chain necklace. Also there to support were Hilary Duff, Ashley Greene, Lindsay Price, Bijou Phillips, and more. Brick walls lent a raw vibe, while darkly dressed guests made the scene feel straight NYC.

Joy's got the necklace mix down. It's so easy, and it elevates her simple look. It's also a sweet way to show off your sentimental style. I tend to layer chains with charms, and mix metals, but I'm now inspired to throw beads, chains, and ribbons into the mix. The only rule is, there is no rule!
