Remember when Nina Garcia lent us some wise words? Remember one of her fashion essentials was a man's watch? I thought this was the most niche of her picks, as someone who doesn't even wear a watch, but I understand its appeal.

leeluvfashion may look feminine up top, but down under, she's tough as nails. I love how she paired a colorful tee and cardi with a pair of chunky military-inspired boots. Her hard and soft elements create a harmoniously fun 'fit.

Ms penny Lane is off the chain. Hey, that rhymes! The always-stylish Fab reader recently wore an oversized white tee and denim cutoffs.

I have always loved the combination of a casual tee and a snazzy skirt, which is why ankasi's look appealed to me. This Moschino girl made sure not to be too simple though — round sunnies, a white chunky watch, and statement rings help dress her up. Sassy, love it.

I can't get enough of chunky gold bracelets right now, but I'm not sure how I feel about this chunky gold watch. The limited edition Coach Whitney Cuff Watch has a look similar to the bracelets, with laced gold eyelets that give it a chain-like effect. The white leather could also look very dressy or sort of casual, depending on the occasion.

One thing that we have not covered much here on FABSUGAR is watches. Personally I don't see much need for a watch beyond serving as a fashion accessory. I am in front of my computer talking to you guys all day long and when I'm not, my blackberry is pretty much glued to my hand (sad, i know, but hence the nickname "crackberry").

Amy Winehouse owns these Terry De Havilland Painted Mules ($598) but that doesn't mean I'm into them. Not only is the chunky platform too crazy for me, so is the painted comic strip and bright yellow accents. I'll let Amy enjoy these while I watch.
