Dolce & Gabbana Plastic Aviator Sunglasses: Love It or Hate It?

Hmmm, these Dolce & Gabbana Plastic Aviator Sunglasses, $275, look a lot like safety glasses, and that's not a good thing. I would consider buying them for my dentist for when he's drilling my teeth (cringe). It may come in handy for safety but never for fashion. What do you think of them?

I Can See Clearly Now: Cool Clear(ish) Sunglasses

I have a pair of cool clear and silver sunglasses by Salvatore Ferragamo that I love wearing in the winter. You don't necessarily need sunglasses in the winter - during a blizzard or fog immersion for example. But, if you want a bit of UV coverage for those semi-bright days, clear(ish) sunglasses are a cool solution. These also fit with the acrylic accents trend for Spring. Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy Brave the Rain For a Sweet Lunch Date

Kate Hudson wore her red jeans yesterday when she and fiancé Matt Bellamy stopped for lunch and coffee at LA's Brentwood Country Mart. They sat down for lunch inside and were spotted holding hands over their table after a waiter had cleared their plates. Despite the rain, both Kate and Matt rocked sunglasses as they ran out to their Prius.

The jet-setting couple is back in California following a couple trips to London over the last few months. England-born Matt and his band Muse have apparently been working on their next album there. Work has brought Kate home to the US, though, to shoot The Reluctant Fundamentalist in NYC. She headed west in time to host her annual Halloween party, which brought out a J. Lo-clad Nicole Richie and Gwen Stefani as Cinderella. Kate and a couple of her close friends reportedly dressed up like Playboy Bunnies.

Mary-Kate juggled a phone call, her purse, and an extra-large water bottle as she hopped into a waiting SUV this morning, while Ashley made a stylish exit from a hotel in sunglasses and a summery maxi skirt and flatforms. Ashley was solo as she headed out, and while recent rumors linked her to Justin Timberlake, his rep has made it clear that JT and Ashley are just friends. Ashley split from actor Justin Bartha earlier this year and recently told Style.com that these days, she prefers to keep her social circle small but diverse. As the Olsens point out in that interview, most of their time is devoted to growing their fashion empire, which includes The Row, Elizabeth and James, and their soon-to-launch ecommerce site StyleMint. She also had time to swing by Late Night With Jimmy Fallon for a chat about her British Vogue cover shoot and not knowing the gender of her and David's fourth child.
