Dolce & Gabbana Plastic Aviator Sunglasses: Love It or Hate It?

Hmmm, these Dolce & Gabbana Plastic Aviator Sunglasses, $275, look a lot like safety glasses, and that's not a good thing. I would consider buying them for my dentist for when he's drilling my teeth (cringe). It may come in handy for safety but never for fashion. What do you think of them?

I Can See Clearly Now: Cool Clear(ish) Sunglasses

I have a pair of cool clear and silver sunglasses by Salvatore Ferragamo that I love wearing in the winter. You don't necessarily need sunglasses in the winter - during a blizzard or fog immersion for example. But, if you want a bit of UV coverage for those semi-bright days, clear(ish) sunglasses are a cool solution. These also fit with the acrylic accents trend for Spring. Power Couple: Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy

Clearly, Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy, who have been together since 2005, are all about having fun - who else would wear his girlfriend's swimsuit? You can see their sheer bliss in their smiles and complementary clothing. For red carpet appearances, the two play the roles of Hollywood hotties with slick suits for Jim and sexy frocks for Jenny. And when they're not on tropical beach vacay, Jim lives in his jeans and boots during off-time. Jenny prefers to keep it sassy in fierce footwear and stylish separates. I love their non-serious, unpretentious ways. And, their autism advocacy is pretty kick-ass. One day, I hope to have a love just as great. For now, let's take a look at their cuteness.

I've always wanted to meet the man behind my favorite Alexis Bittar jewels - I finally had the pleasure to do so at his recent Neiman Marcus trunk show. Alexis filled us in on what's going on in his world right now. He's one busy bee; his San Francisco stay was for a mere 10 hours because he had to fly to Vancouver for an appearance at Holt Renfrew. He revealed his jewelry philosophy and discussed the dope spiked bracelet Alicia Keys wore recently . . .

What’s the latest and greatest goings on?

I just finished Spring, we showed at Paris Fashion Week. We showed at Tranoi, which is a show there. I designed three collections under Alexis Bittar, and three other collections for other designers. I did Alexis Bittar for Michael Kors, we did glass, it’s all clear. And I did Michael Angel, he’s kind of a younger designer. I met him through the girls at Vogue. In a week, doing Victoria’s Secret.

Here are my favorite looks: gaga for Gaga, wild thang, mystical queen, romance me, amazing Amelia, shiny chic, and dotty. Swiss tights are all the rage right now and gogosushi clearly knows that. So cute.

Camilla Belle and Katy Perry's styles couldn't be more different, but clearly the two have a shared love for white, feathery Marchesa. Camilla first wore this gorgeous piece from the Spring '10 line at an event in LA a couple weeks ago. She paired it with strappy black sandals and sparkly jewels. Then Katy sported the same fancy frock onstage at the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards in Germany with a pair of sequined pumps. Both look like delicate swans, but who wore Marchesa better?
